Who is this who looks down like the dawn, beautiful as the moon, bright as the sun, awesome as an army with banners? Song of Solomon 6:10
Who indeed? A woman of course.
# The book talks about the whole life cycle of a woman. the character “Pinky aunty” refers to every woman in society. This book is purely about the emotional’s twirls of a woman, her material, and methods to handle the changes in her life and the different shades of her life she lived.
# I feel connected to every line of the poetry. The author describes women’s emotions of childhood, love, hurt, breakup, marriage, and motherhood in the form of poetry very smoothly.
# When a girl in the phase of wedlock they asked her “What kind of man you want in your life?” and she answered, “He should be worthy.” Worthy of money? They asked. “No. worthy of my soul and my dreams.”
# The use of the “grass” analogy for women takes my heart away. Some lines of the book are “Grass, I am generous to let some creatures feed on me, and yet I grow again. I am ruthless enough to conquer the sunlight in me and strong enough to press the waters beneath me. just the green grass choosing not to dry.”
# Overall, this book is just a friendly reminder for all the lovely ladies, that It is absolutely fine to be both masterpieces and work in progress simultaneously. You are more powerful than you think. You are the tigress of the jungle who is running it very well.

• It is a story of four teenagers Alok, Naaz, Atif, and Amal, who are clueless in their teenage and unfortunately make bad choices. You will find the consequences of their choices and how they come out of the trap. The hustle of student life is well portrayed by the author.
• I love the sister-brother bond of Alok and his sister Anju. The author describes it very beautifully.

• This book is the retelling of one of the famous stories from 1001 Arabian nights “Aladdin and the magic lamp”.
• The story is about the Omran Sultan of Baghdad. He is kind and a man of equity. But his best friend and minister Aqrab plot against him. however you will not found any genie and magic lamp, but the story is full of magic and fantasy worlds. The book is all about kindness, betrayal, greed, loyalty, and magic.
• My fav character in this book is Zeriab. He is calm, philosopher, and master of white magic. I found him genie of Emmadin’s life.
• Omar Pasha describes Baghdad very beautifully. I learn many facts about Baghdad like the paper machine invention and it amused me that Baghdad had a proper sewer system and bathrooms in 13 centuries.
• I believe that the author retells the story very carefully, you will not miss the feel of folk tales and fairy tales. This is a quick and joy ride for fantasy book lovers.

On A Journey of Life
• This book presents you two stories “As the miles went by” written by kajal rai and "That summer by Nivedita karmaran.
• As the miles went by This story is about a girl named Sanchi, who is on a journey to recreate one adventurous incident of her mother’s diary. A dairy which she finds after her mother's death. her relationship with her father is not good, she feels lonely after the loss of her mother. through her mother's diary, she wants to connect with her again, and plan a solo trip to Uttarkashi, a place where her mother discovers herself. I loved the way the author describes the beauty of Uttarkashi. You will find a plethora of acute emotions: love, loss, hurt, and laughter.
• That summer: the second story is in the form of a letter. A girl named Rashi writes a letter to his friend Lalit whom she found when she was thirteen. She describes her teenage journey through this letter.
• Overall, this is a good read. both are simple stories with deep emotions. I will recommend this book to teenagers.

Quote: “A failure is an opportunity in disguise for us to fulfill our dreams.”
Does failure make you anxious about disappointing yourself again?
Do you feel hot and cold flashes or stomachache every time you failed?
If your answer is “yes” then the book “F stands for success” is especially for you.
About the Book:
“Failure is the first step towards success” is one of the famous quotes, which we read or heard many times. You will find how Rakhi lives by this mantra, and fulfill her childhood dream of writing. The author shares her life experiences of failure and eventually losing hope to become a writer. But, she finds a way, in the year 2014 when she went on a trek in Nepal which she failed to complete. She published her first book on the failure of that trek named “girl who left behind”. After that, she is on fire and published 18 books, out of which 4 are national bestsellers.
My thoughts:
The book is a light and very influential read. I loved the prose she wrote at the beginning of every chapter. Writing about own failure is never easy, the personal experience of the author makes this book impressive. I recommend this book to all who are holding back their dreams because of the fear of failure.

"History tells us what people do; historical fiction helps us imagine how they felt?"
It is my first book of Vineet and after reading it, I became a fan of his narration. Going to read his other books.
About the book:
This is historic fiction. The plot is about the first war of independence against British rule in India in 1857. The story starts with the haunted treasure of “The Tiger of Mysore”. It is the story of a Mastaan- a loyal soldier of East India Company, and a brave son of India who fell in love with the sister of his British commander. Now, what Mastaan will be: a rebel, or a lover?
My thoughts:
First of all, I found the cover very interesting. storytelling is very gripping, and all historic events are linked together very beautifully. The history of the 1857 revolt is explained very finely and the character Mastaan connected to the story very seamlessly. After reading this book you all have a question did Mastaan exist? I think the name describes itself, there were many Mastaan’s who shower their unconditional love and sacrifice themselves to protect their motherland.
Overall the book is the perfect blend of patriotism, friendship, love, and courage. I will recommend this book to all historical fiction lovers.

“It is not easy to defeat evil, whispers the wind. It has no body, no arms, no legs. It has no face, no voice not even a breath. It can live silently, invisible in human minds.”
A story that will keep you hooked till the end. The plot is set in the beautiful ran of kutch village Kuran, situated on the Indo Pak border. This is a mysterious story of a simple family of four: Mankor(wife), Virendra(husband), Samar(son), and ranu(daughter).
Mankor: A good wife and mother. but a shadow of the past is haunting her. She keeps knitting the dreams for her daughter’s bright future. she wants to buy her a bicycle and shoes to give her power and wings.
Virendra: A brave BSF tracker, who gets the bravery award hunting down a terrorist. His world gets upside down when he came to his village to celebrate Navratri with his family and friends.
Samar: A 16 yr old boy, taking charge of his family when his father is away from home on duty. He misses his father a lot. But he shattered down when he knew the truth about himself.
Ranu: A 10 yr old free spirit girl. Who loves to dance and study. But one day she gets disappear and her disappearance uncovers the truth of a brutal murder.
I will not write about the plot more, because it will be a spoiler.
My thoughts: each character of the book is developed very amazingly, that you will feel so realistic. The fluid writing style of the author gripped me in such a way I completed the book in one sitting. The story is fast-paced and not at all predictable. For me, it’s a perfect blend of thriller, mystery, and emotions.
Note: the end of the story is more sinister than you can ever imagine.
