The dark sun rises by Dhruv Seth is a book that will treat the readers with a suspense element.
Follow the story of Ravi who is an intelligent student, brilliant businessman, and a caring person with a lovable heart. But a conspiracy gives him a scar and turned his loveable heart into a rage. As the story moves you will find that how the bitterness of life turns on a demonic side of a person?
I like reading this book. the story is good, but I found the narration a little bit stretchy and slow-paced. However, the author done a fantastic job in creating characters that the readers will connect with, relate to, and truly come to care about.
Overall, this is a good book with full drama and twists.

“2 AM and You” by “Ashish Bardia” features a collection of poems. The book is divided into three parts: Love, Pain, and Healing.
The first part “Love” is about romance and describes an intense feeling and innocence.
“She resides in me like fresh morning dew,
pure, and refreshing and innocently untouched.”
The second part “Pain” shows the aches a person feels when someone lost their loved one, and the third part holds the “Healing” by hope and optimism.
“Nothing can save you neither the star nor the universe,
But your own hope that this shall pass, Just, hang in there!”
The poems are short and flavorful just like eating cookies, consumed quickly but taste and flavor linger on in the mouth.
Overall, it is a short poetry book, best suitable for beginners in the poetry genre.

“What’s the difference?” I asked. “Between the love of your life, and your soulmate?”
“One is a choice, and one is not”.
“Soulmates: Love is forever” by “Harjeet Sra” is a romantic novel that readers will find intriguing.
This is a story of Ruhi an intelligent and strong girl who stays in a beautiful hill station with her 2 childhood friends Jia and Ishaan. One day she met with her old primary classmate Kabir, whom she does like much. But somehow their path crossed and they fall for each other. And there comes the love triangle. Now I will not talk about the story, it will be a spoiler.
I love the simple story with emotions. For me, the best part of this read is the quality of the characters and the satisfying ending. The characters are well developed and distinct. I usually find myself nodding in agreement whenever characters express their thoughts. Oh! How can I forget to mention the short poetries written at the start of every chapter.
Overall, this is an awesome book with great characters.

“The Awakening: Three sources. Two worlds. One connection” is a work of science-fiction in the fantasy genre and is the second installment in “The Blood-Light Trilogy”. It is aimed at young adult readers and was penned down by “Dana Claire.”
I will not write about the story because it will be a spoiler. When I started this book, I thought it would be difficult to understand the book as I didn’t read the first one, but it's easy to catch up as the plot is unique. This book holds an excellent story with a compelling premise: Aliens, superpowers, and adventurous ride of protagonists.
Dans Claire proves to be a skilled writer who can conceive of the most entertaining yet electric ideas and blend them into a narrative that makes consistent sense, followed by a roller coaster ride of drama and emotional stakes which I will not ruin here.
Overall, this is a read with an excellent plot and engaging characters which give the readers an unforgettable experience.

Love bytes by Vanndana Vaadera is a collection of the author’s life experiences.
The memoir started with the pain and challenges the author had to face in her childhood. She shares her funny encounters with humor and shared her traveling experience with interesting stories. I like the chapter “Berlin-an affair to remember” the way she narrates her trip with a detailed itinerary I feel I am traveling with her. There are many musings and experiences she shared about life, love, finding a true partner to an abusive marriage, and her journey to freedom and successful life.
This is a short read with a simple writing style. The best part is the narration which includes witty remarks, and a dose of good sarcasm. Sharing one line which I liked:
"Remember, failure is not tumbling down; it’s refusing to get up and try again. Rebuild your castle of dreams, and make those dreams a reality

World under siege by Suhas Inamdar is a sci-fi thriller with a blend of modern technologies, coding, and Artificial Intelligence.
The plot revolves around a special server created by an Indian firm, Renaissance infotech Ltd. I got excited when I encounter the coding and algorithm used in this server to prevent cyber-attacks. But then comes the twist when it got stolen? Who stole it and what will happen if it will be in the wrong hands?
When I start the book, I found it a bit slow, however after 20 pages plot moves quickly in unexpected ways, keeping me hooked throughout the pages. The author keeps the plotting intricate while developing the characters. The suspense sequences happen in quick bursts that are vividly described.

“Chahti hoon tumhe” by “Sundari Venkatraman” is a short and lovely novel.
As the name suggested it is a full Bollywood vibe love story of Jaanavi and Ritesh. Jaanavi a famous down-to-earth Bollywood star and Ritesh a rich and handsome businessman, both met at an event and get attracted to each other. Grab your copy to know how their relationship overcomes the struggles?
The story is beautiful and the development of Jaanavi and Ritesh's relationship, from stranger to lover, is done subtly. Both the characters are lovable. The characters grow up together and they relate so well. The wordplay and language are expressive and rich. The couple’s romantic gestures, their first meeting, and their bonding are nicely developed by the author, though it is a short read.
Overall, this is a short and cute read to enjoy with your coffee.

Dare to live by Himanshu Bhatia is as relatable as it is entertaining. In a tone that is sarcastic and conversational, the author explores a juggling life of a corporate person.
This is the story of IIT-IIM graduate Atharv, who joined a company with high aspirations. But his expectations turned into hell when he worked under an egoistic boss Mandira. The office situation makes his personal life disastrous. Will he be able to find the balance between his work and personal life?
Weaving the experience of Atharv into the book, the author discusses very important points on how management can be overbearing and the effect it has on employees. With the satirical tone, the author explores very sensitive areas, including activities that literally demean employees. Anyone who has worked in a corporate world will find themselves nodding in approval with the turn of the pages.
Overall, this is a quick read to another side of the corporate world.

He realized that any form of pain needed time to turn itself into art. In the cold face of tragedy, in the hat of pain reality, no one could express its gravity in poetry, or any other form of art. Time has to work on a sense of loss, squeeze the heart over lonely days and nights to churn out art from pain.
Shamal days by Sabin Iqbal is a book that emotionally destroyed me. My heart ached when I turned the pages. This was the story of Abbas who works in the Gulf as a newspaper editor. He was in deep pain, and regret a grave mistake he committed in his past.
I loved reading this literary work. Through Abbas author portray a picture of the immigrant experience in another country. I found the array of themes in this book: regrets, loneliness, politics (international and corporate both), etc. The author weaved the political issues with the disturbing life of Abbas. All the characters are crafted with detail and holds a conflict.
Overall, this is a book that will give you emotional turmoil.
