"Kahan kahan nai dhundha, magar wo mujhme mila
Bade sukoon se maine , sukoon ko paya."

We desire everything for our life, and for that, we are working round the clock. But we are lacking peace of mind and soul in this journey. Today when there is a lockdown situation, we all get time to stop and spend some quality time with family, to talk with them and share your talks with them, and these are the Sukoon k pal.
Sukoon k pal by Anish Jha is a sweet story of two college friends Milind and Kirti. They both have different perspectives on life and a different mindset. They make a promise whenever they are in the same city, they will meet last Friday of every month to spend some blissful time.
Overall, the book is a short and peaceful read, and the poetry at the beginning is the charm of the read.

"Until one has loved an animal, a part of one's soul remains unawakened."
Bezubaan dil by Anish Jha is a story of the unconditional love and loyalty of a dog towards a human. The story revolves around two protagonists Rahul who doesn’t like stray dogs and Rumi who is an animal lover. There is always an argument between them because of this difference. But one incident changes the whole perspective of Rahul towards animals.
One should be kind towards animals and maintain harmony between two species. I liked the plot. The writing is lucid. Highly recommended to all readers.

“Krishna” this short story resonates with the present time. The story starts with the conversation of Riya, Dushyant, and Mahesh. Mahesh works as a driver for the couple. One day he said he is leaving the job and going back to his village with his family because soon there will be a pandemic situation. Dushyant do not give much attention to his talks and started living his life the same.
After months, his life gets devastated when he lost Riya in this pandemic situation. Then “Krishna” came into his dream and changed his perspective for life.
The writing style is simple, and the ideology of lord Krishna is expressed well. A light read to enjoy with teatime.

It is a collection of poems, reflecting upon various moods, and aspects of life. they are all an expression of thoughts that have taken the form of a manifestation in words. 18 poems are capturing a variety of expressive moments of life, from self-love, optimism to the pandemic.
Though all poems are inspirational, I am listing some of the titles of my favorite poem:
1. The secret of optimism: the poem talks about the true meaning of hope.
2. Busy being busy: This is about how we are forgetting the true purpose of life in the rat race f getting everything.
3. Feelings- they are mortal
4. Be yourself
5. Loneliness to solitude: the journey of a girl from loneliness to solitude.
I love the illustrations given after each poem; they are best suited to the theme. The language is very simple and comprehensible.
A perfect read to enjoy with a cup of coffee.

Sundari Venkatraman brings readers the second installment of the Princess series. This is another gem of the Author’s historical series.

This is a beautiful story of two brave characters. Princess Chamundeswari is raised by her stepmom after losing her parents in a fire, and Vijayendran the younger one of Chozha kingdom who lost his father and raised by his step elder brother. Both have painful past but raised with a warrior soul. What will happen when both strong characters cross each other path?

Oh man, how can I forget to mention the pet of princess cute tiger Manu and a horse Rahu! I love how beautifully the animal love author narrates.

I would love to appreciate the author for her detailed research on RajaRaja Chozhan and Rajendra Chozhan era. The culture of that era is described in detail by the author. Chamndeswari's character is crafted very strongly by the author. the writing style is simple with alternative timeline narration.
Overall, this is a perfect story of love, revenge, and joy with full drama in Indian royalty in the background.

Have you read any book with the Animal protagonist, which targeted the Adult audience?
“It was difficult to live a life of compromises.”
The Emperor: Live the dream by Ram Joshi is a story of a Penguin named Em, the Emperor. He lost his parents when he was so young. He is battling in life to survive in extreme weather conditions or sometimes from predators. Since his childhood, he has a dream, but his rational thoughts and need for approval from his fellow penguins widened the gap between his dreams and reality. What is his dream? Should he break the rules and achieve his dream? To know grab your copy.
I must appreciate the author for his innovative approach to delivering a deep message through the penguin story. the narration is very realistic and philosophical anyone can relate to the struggle of Em. This book is a fictional tale, but I must say it holds many answers which we are seeking in life.
Overall, it is quite an entertaining and inspirational read.

“After death, it is impossible to rediscover and experiment on the talent that we possessed in our earlier life. So, instead of carrying out a monotonous job till death, one should take a chance and try something different. By doing so, he or she may attain satisfaction and live a contented life.”
I always get fascinated by both amazing technologies of Sci-fi and the lessons of Mythology. The evil days is a treat for me as it is a perfect blend of sci-fi and mythology.
The story revolves around Kalki Naryan a neuroscientist who invented a device with his best friend Troy, which can calculate a person’s Spectra. The concept of human spectra is amazingly described by the author. in the meantime, the UN found that the brain of Albert Einstein is missing and can be misused against human race destruction. moving forward in the story Kalki got devasted when his loyal one plot against him and send him behind the bar. Will Kalki able to prove his innocence and save the world?
The characters and the given name by the author are perfect. When I read the first chapter, I found a glimpse of Steven Spielberg’s movie “Minority report”. And just finished it in one go. It is an entertaining read. The intriguing setting of the story was another exciting factor of the read that completely blended with the whole plot.

Overall it is a captivating novel that combines a unique and truly fascinating plot and compelling characters to deliver a true sci-fi thriller.

Panipuri !!!!!!!!!! do you feel the spicy and tangy flavor when you hear this word? Can you imagine a crime related to this small ball of flavors?
Panipuri crime by S B Akshobhya is a story of an engineer Sagar who wants to take his love for panipuri to the next level. He wants to make a digital platform for panipuri vendors to sell panipuri online. But as he researches more to start this platform, he finds a strange event that all 5 entrepreneurs who ventured into the same business in the past have died mysteriously. And from there starts the thriller in the story. Will Sagar be able to start his venture? And what is the mystery behind these deaths? To know you must pick this book.
First of all the title of the read is so intriguing that attracts the readers easily. The language and narration are simple and easy to understand. the thriller part is well described by the author. But I feel the backstory and romance between too many characters are a bit too much and unnecessary. Apart from this, the read is perfect to combine with your teatime.

This is a perfect book which talks about following your inner compass for a mindfulness life. it is a good self-help book on personal development, one that offers tools and secrets to unlocking the doors to fulfillment, growth, and success.

Most of us are not satisfied with our living life because usually we feel disconnected from ourselves. We all are chasing the ideas, values, and dreams suggested by our electric culture and struggling to meet standards set by others. The author shares the “Preeti’s 4A Mindfulness Model” based on four fundamental pillars: Aware, Accept, Act, Ameliorate, which helps the readers to reconnect with their deep emotions, and desires because it is only then one can live with authenticity.

The language is lucid with engaging narration. Overall, I found this book very edifying, and insightful, one of those books to read and pass on.

The story revolves around Viren and Mansi, who were good friends during their college times. Mansi feels for Viren, but he was an egoistic and self-centered person who ignored her and falls for Rashi. But later he found Rashi loved someone else. Now he craved for his true love. Who is she Rashi or Mansi?

This book is in the Hindi language. The emotions are well expressed, you will feel the pain of Viren’s heartbreak. I like the flashback part of Viren’s college life. but after some point, it gets repeated, due to which I lost track of the plot. The writing style is lucid. I like this fictional read with Personal touch.
Overall, this is a decent read.
