I think this will be one of the only times I ever say this but l liked the movie better! In the movie we got to see and experience what Andy went through while in the book it's all kind of a summary from Red. I think the movie is the best movie ever made, and the book is well.... Not the best book ever written.

My heart!!!! My poor babies cannot catch a fucking break! Everytime I pick up a book in this series, I always prepare myself for the emotional whiplash and turmoil that I know I will experience. And in every book, it just gets worse and worse for the main characters.
Besides the therapy I'll need after I finish this series, I absolutely love it. I am so attached to these characters and this world. I hope they get somewhat of a happy ending. I'm nervous to pick up the next book but I am also so eager. I love Zodiac Academy!!!

Just a fun little read. I enjoyed reading about Pip again and her amazing investigation skills! I love her character. I don't know how she figured the murder out. (i agree with pip, her guess was way better than what the booklet said).
I so badly wish I could go to a murder mystery party like this, it seems so fun!

Woah I was not expecting this book to go this route. I cannot believe Pip survived a serial killer! I enjoyed this book but some things just didn't make sense to me. I'm sorry but Pip's escape was far fetched in my opinion. I don't think anyone could have knocked over a big heavy shelf like that. And the duct tape would have been stuck to the leg of the shelf no?
The other part that didn't make sense to me was the ending. I mean it did make sense but I didn't like how she abandoned Ravi, her friends, and her family for almost 2 years. I don't know how she could have left Ravi sobbing alone in the woods.
Besides those things, this was a pretty good book! I enjoyed this entire series and I can't wait for the show to come out later this year!

Ahhhh I really liked this one!! The Prisoner of Azkaban was always my least favorite movie but the book was really good. I know as the series continues I'm going to be HURTING!!!. Hermione is such a badass in the books and I love it, I wish the movies show cased that more.

So honestly, I thought this book was going to be more than it was. It was very beautifully written! The plot was just slow and didn't have a good rhythm to it. I didn't even feel as attached to the characters as l'd hoped. It was still a cool concept though!

Wow wow wow wow.
I absolutely adored the first one but someone fell in love with this one even more. The author has such a beautiful writing style, it makes the story more romantic! I love Iris and Roman so so much!! Their love story is one I will never forget.
This book had me on the edge of my seat everytime I picked it up. I was so so scared one of them was going to die. I am so grateful that these characters got a (somewhat) happy ending. They really deserved it after everything they've been through. This is now in my top 5 favorite book series I swear.
I was not expecting Iris to be the one to kill the god. My little writer literally became a god slayer and I love that for her. Ahhhh this story just made my heart feel so full.

This book was okay! I definitely think the cat and mouse duet is better but this one was still fun. My only pet peeve was that it felt like she was trying to imitate Zade and Addie's relationship. There were a lot of similarities and I don't know I just didn't vibe with it. I felt like the couple could have a different relationship dynamic.
The ending was my favorite though!

Joe strikes again! I’m not going to lie, this may sound bad but I was really rooting for Joe to be a good guy for once. He failed of course. The first half of this book was slow which I feel like always happens. The second half though was so good! I was not expecting all of those twists and turns!!

I love how this story is unfolding. I’m really sad at what happened at the end because I truly thought this was Joe’s happy ever after. As Bailey Sarian says, “make good choices”. And Joe needs to take that advice.
