Dance with Me on New Year's Eve by Alana Highbury
5.0
This was such a cute and sweet romance that honestly gave me all the feels. I related so much to Roxy with social anxiety and finding it hard to talk to people in person. This book honestly does such a great job at explaining how hard it is to live with social anxiety and what it can do to you. It also did such a wonderful job in showing how important a healthy work life balance is and what can happen if you overwork yourself too much. The online romance was adorable and i loved the little twist at the end. Jeff was such an interesting character and i really like how throughout the book you start to see the many layers to him as a person. I do wish we got a bit more backstory for him though because i was very curious about his parents and family life. Lila was such a fun character and definitely made me laugh with her interactions with Roxy. I really enjoyed the character development for both characters and the plot was pretty fun. I also really like this authors writing style so i will definitely be reading more from this author. I highly recommend this book!
Thanks to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for an ARC of this book.

If you were on the fence or liked book 1 then I think you will like this one sooooo much more!
I ADORED wade and Ivy's story so much. The grumpy x sunshine trope was everything in this book.
Wade is such a softy under that grumpy exterior he plays into and i loved every minute of it!
and Ivy was such a sweetheart who experienced a rough childhood and a rough couple of years before she came to silver pines. She deserves all the happiness in the world. I also loved how open she was with listening to her romance books and how she wasn't afraid of people hearing it while she was listening LOL. that girl was never embarrassed and owned up to it.
ALSO the dedication??? I love it.
The way Paisley writes these men is just perfect and i am loving this series so much. This book is definitely my favorite so far but i can not wait for Cole and Ginger!!
And she did not disappoint with the spice in this book y'all
I don't want to spoil anything but i highly recommend this book.
Thank you Netgalley & Random House for sending me an arc in exchange for an honest review :)

I think I’m gonna give this a 3 star
Just because it took me so much longer than it usually takes me to read a book. I just feel like the first half of the book I didn’t really want to pick it up but that also could just be a slight reading slump?
This was a spicy workplace/ “part time cowboy” romance.
This story was honestly pretty entertaining after the 30% mark but I kinda wish we got more of a slow burn. I feel like the last 40% was just them happy and together and it just felt a bit boring.
I will say the spice was pretty good until towards the end it started cringing me out….
Nash was possessive and quite jealous when it comes to Cece! But he was such a sweet and caring character and I really liked him.
Cece was a sweet and incredibly smart character and I really enjoyed seeing her become more confident and stand up for herself.
Other things I liked!
-pretty short chapters
-best friends who are nosy
-found family which is my favorite
-ginger is hilarious and I really hope she gets a book

Christmas Cancellation by Evie James

This book was adorable and i really enjoyed the Christmas feel it had to it. The relationship between our main characters definitely happened very quickly but i feel like the chemistry and connection between both of them makes up for that. Noelle has quite a bit of grief that she is slowly working through and i really liked that Kol helped her as much as he could with it. The banter between our main characters was top tier and i loved it so much. This was a cute spicy book and im excited to see what else this author writes

This book was such a fun and clean romance with all of the hallmark vibes you could ever want. The plot was cute and i really enjoyed that both characters were writers that were sort of competing against each other to get the promotion they wanted. I really want to visit a cute little christmas town now.

Man do i LOVE a good cowboy romance!!
This book was so good and i will definitely be reading everything this author publishes from now on.
Mollie took some time for me to like her and understand why she is the way she is. she struggled a lot with grief and the feeling of guilt and it really explained her as a person and how it effected her as a person. I really enjoyed how confident and determined she was to making everything work with her current situation.
Cash has the most green flags i have ever seen! He is incredibly caring and so good at communicating how he feels and what he wants.
The banter and the chemistry between both of them was amazing and i really enjoy the dislike to like trope in this book. I had the best time with this book and im excited to read more in this series!!

Lost and Lassoed by Lyla Sage

Lyla Sage has done it again!!!!
I absolutely ADORED this book with my whole heart.
Theodora is now at the top of my list for favorite FMC's in romance books. I love her personality and how confident and real she is. I also really enjoyed how much she cares for others and the struggle she had to face with finding her path in life and making sure to choose herself when its important. She is a force to be reckon with I'll tell you that! The relationship she had with August's daughter Riley absolutely melted my heart and Riley was such a cutie! I loved the banter between everyone but especially between Theodora and August. I also really liked how Teddy was rubbing off on Riley especially rolling her eyes.
August was such a interesting character to read about because at first i didn't know if i liked him or not with the whole grumpy attitude he had going. As we went through the book it became clear on why he acts like that and really he is this super thoughtful and selfless person that just wants to help in any way he can. I liked that we saw him struggle with having to learn how to manage his time better and come to terms with the fact that he is allowed to ask for help and he doesn't have to do everything by himself. Also when he was taking care of Teddy when she was in pain was adorable and my absolute favorite part in this book.
I already knew i was going to enjoy these two from the little snippets we got in the first two books of the series but my goodness i was not ready for how much i was going to love this book.
Having both of these characters who very clearly feel so deeply for each other and for those around them was beautiful. I feel like i connected with these two characters in more ways than one.
And i CAN'T wait for the next book to come out! I am so excited to see what Lyla has planned for Dusty and Cam.

Royal Hearts by Margaret Rose

This book has such a hallmark vibe with a good Christmas rom-com feel to it and i loved it! I really enjoyed each character throughout this book and the part they played in it. I'm definitely a sucker for royalty rom-com books so this was wonderful. Winter is definitely an interesting character to learn about and i really liked that at first he seemed like this full of himself type of person but then as you go through the book you realized he is a genuinely sweet and golden retriever type of guy. Cat was such a misunderstood character at first with winter and im so glad she was this sweet and selfless type of person that would help anyone even if she didn't get anything out of it. The tension was perfect and i really enjoyed the dislike to like trope in this book. The Christmas setting in this book made me SO excited for Christmas and it had all the cozy feels to it.

The amount of times this book made me cry..... (which is not hard because i cry when other people cry)
Billie is my absolute favorite FMC i have read so far! And Vaughn is annoying but he got his redemption at the end. I was FUMING at the conflict but also thankful that it wasn't the classic miscommunication trope. But this book has left me an emotional wreck and Elsie Silver needs to pay my therapy bill because she made me cry with Billie sooo much. and DD.... i need a horse like him. i need a horse in general because this book really brought out my horse obsession from when i was little. I am a horse girl at heart always.
I loved this book so much and i am so excited to read the rest of the series. Really intrigued to read Cole and Violet's story!
