There is just something missing about this whole aspect.

Maybe it’s the angsty girl in me that wants a little bit more negative reaction or consequence.

I just felt that there could’ve been more drama than what we were given.

This was a very short story to have as big of a plot as it had. I hope that makes sense.

There was so much unsaid that it just felt rushed, and like I skipped over all of the nuances.

If it was longer and had the bridge between the gaps then I think this would have definitely been so much better.

Better Than I Expected

I thought this was gonna be one of those little trashy fast paced stories, but it definitely wasn’t.

Although the breakups were very dramatic and kind of unnecessary after the first one and especially the second one. But I did understand why they were implemented into the storyline.

I’m also glad that the characters aren’t running from their problems and not talking it out! Except for that second time because she wanted to talk it out and he didn’t wanna hear it.

I did cry a little!!

I didn’t think anything of this when it was recommended to me by my cheating romance Facebook group. But I just decided to read it because it seemed from the spoilers like it was gonna be a quick read. I was wrong.

It definitely for me was emotional. I felt for this book. I like how both of the characters were kind of doormats to their situation and they finally backbones and kicked it in gear.

Yes, the hero was definitely a coward throughout most of this book, but it slowly starts getting chipped away as things keep happening that he does not want in his life. It was very nice to see that whole period happen.

The heroine on the other hand, was so used to just running away from her problems and not talking them out. I’m just so glad that we got to see her gather her spirit and acknowledge that may be running away from problems isn’t the best thing to do.

Definitely like it, if more of the author’s books are like this then I’m definitely gonna read them.

Too Short

I kind of wish this was more complex and not as short as it was, but for what we get it’s a great story.
