i loved this book SO MUCH OH MY GOD!!! completely changed the romance genre for me. people need to keep writing good romance books like this instead of the stupid cliché ones that have been coming out recently (all with the same looking ugly cover). this really changed it for me!!! love this romance book and I would definitely read it again if it wasn't so sad LOL. maybe i'll re-read it when i have it fully processed through my mind. idk. i need a sequel i miss eleanor & park.

i really tried to like this book but in the end its just not for me at all. its so confusing and its all over the place. its just written really weird in my opinion. i took forever trying to finish this book because I was holding out hope for it, but in the end i shouldnt have because it was a waste of my time LOL! i dont like giving bad ratings and i was going to round it up to at least a 3 but then i just couldnt idk i am a bit disappointed

this book was so good and short so it was a quick read. it says i took forever only bc i started reading this book online while i was in the middle of another book so yeah. but when i got my physical copy and made this the "main" current book i was reading, i finished it really quickly. the book is so good and i wish i had mr terupt as a teacher :( what a nice guy. and the characters!! there's a lot of development in ALL OF THEM which is something i really love in any book. so thats another plus. Another thing about this is that i love the fact they all realized their mistakes. i liked the pacing and the short chapters (im an official short chapter lover)
also i just love teachers and idk maybe people who read this will be more appreciative of their teachers IDK i need to read the sequel because i need to know more about mr. terupt's family and i need mr terupt and ms. newbury to get together AAHhhh
i just love this and all the characters. ok bye!

I actually really liked this. the only reason i read it was bc it was the only title i recognized on ms. mitchell's shelf, but it was definitely worth it. i almost cried and i talked about it with my social studies teacher mrs. helmer so that was fun too. it was really good and not as cheesy as i had expected. really good writing and im looking forward to reading more of john green's books. sometimes the dialogue was a bit cheesy but it was bearable. i didn't cry like everyone else in the reviews is saying they did. which is weird because i typically cry at every book i read LOL. anyways it was definitely sad AND "cry-worthy" and it almost did it for me but it didnt! not like im deducting any points for that because maybe i just was not in the right mood.

this book is very good and i love the twists. however it kept being like "i woke up from my coma" and it was all fake i was like WHAT!! it was annoying and i was like girl hurry up and wake up idc if youre in a coma right now just WAKE UP because I NEED TO KNOW what happens. but me being like this proves that the plot is really good and its telling that its suspensful and page-turning, which is all true. so it's a compliment that is within an insult i guess????? anyway i really did like this and the only thing preventing me from giving it a 5 star rating is the pacing. I put it as medium pacing but i'd say its in between slow and medium pace. anyways! its good!

Did not finish book. Stopped at 16%.
did not finish it's taking forever to build up and i have a shorter attention span like literally just hurry and idk im not here to hear about a grown man author describe teenagers in such a way..... like the way he described the daughter and that one bagger at the grocery store??? yeah im grossed out i dont know if ill ever try to pick this back up lol. its weird and uncomfortable without the plot having been started yet
