At the beginning I was really put off by their age gap even though I don’t usually mind them. But making her 19 when they first met was so icky to me
I was very happy when we got that first time jump and their actual romance started when she was a bit older. I still think she could’ve been a tiiiiny bit older but after a while I forgot that she was so young because she did act more mature
The ending was very beautiful but I’m gonna be honest the way there was rough
This was way too long and I skimmed quite a few chapters between 80-90% because I was so bored
But other than that this was a cute ending to the series
I love Griffin he deserves the world

I love it when authors write books in the same universe but ana huang is lowkey overdoing it with the cameos/ mentions of other couples

I think this whole series is just not really for me because every book so far has been so mid

I did really like Xavier however! I loved that he just went to Sloane and straight up told her he wanted to date her. Gotta love a man who doesn't send mixed signals and just goes after what he wants

I am incredibly happy that I gave this book a shot even though I hate the cover
This book was so so so beautiful

I’m gonna be honest the first 50% were absolutely infuriating and I couldn’t decide wether I wanted to give this book 5 stars or chuck my kindle out the window
I didn’t totally love Lucky and Danil’s friendship but that’s just because of my personal preference since I can’t stand it when one of the mc’s is involved with someone else and we actively have to see it

But other than that this book was incredible. It was very emotional and I cried a lot. It made me so happy to see Ellis be surrounded by so much love and I think his neurodivergence was written and handled so beautifully
I absolutely loved that Ellis was never reduced to his differences and it wasn’t even given a specific name except that one time Mrs Cole talks to Lucky about it. Like Ellis is just a human with his own personality and needs like everyone else even if others might not understand him

I would recommend this book to everyone who wants a beautiful M/M story with childhood best friends to lovers and amazing neurodivergent representation

I hate to say this about a man with this name, but Stefan is my favourite Gold Rush Ranch man so far (literally why can’t he be called anything other than fucking Stefan. Every Stefan I know is a huge asshole)

These books are very fun and quick reads!
This was a very cute story and I enjoyed it a lot but it was a bit boring sometimes

One thing I have to mention is that why are all these third act break ups so fucking dumb?? like y’all are 28-35 years old, fucking act like it. It was so frustrating to read

That ending though??? SOBBING
I did not expect that ending to be so emotional

Also is it Elsie’s intention to make me hate Billie? Because with every book she gets more annoying

I’m not sure wether I’ll read the fourth book because in my personal opinion a 33 year old man should go nowhere near a 19 year old girl even though I HATE not finishing series
I don’t usually mind age gap romances but did she have to be 19??

I’m pretty sure this is Elsie Silver’s first book and I could definitely tell. This was definitely not her best work
I made the mistake of reading Chestnut Springs and Wild Love before this so I was expecting more but I did still enjoy this and I look forward to reading the rest of this series
The connection and relationship between Vaughn and Billie was lacking in my opinion. I couldn’t really feel any chemistry between them and sometimes it felt like the love story was more between Billie and DD lmao
Vaughn was kind of icky to me in the first 40% and I also didn’t like him in that third act break up so he’s definitely not my favourite
I am not and never have been a horse girl but this book really had me crying because of Billie and DD’s relationship
But all in all this was a good first book and a cute romance book

This was a beautiful book and I really love the found family aspect in this whole series
I absolutely loved Isaiah and he deserves the whole world
But I gotta be honest, the best part of this was Miller, Kai and Max (and also Monty) for me. I loved getting snippets of them being happy together
I didn’t really like Kennedy all that much. She had her moments but I hated that she was so adamant in the whole “I need to practice with you so that I can date other guys after you even though I know you like me”. If an mmc acted like that in a book I would probably dnf because that’s just so icky to me

Well… that was fucking weird
