I wasn't expecting this story to be as complex (in a good way!) As it was but there was adventure, mystery, intrigue, an interesting twist on a Disney tale with a surprisingly dark underbelly that felt like a full and well done story.

I absolutely loved the humor of the book and the tropes and plot were basic enough that they were comfortable to read but still interesting and had you reading to get to the next bit.

It feels very white savior-y, the MC who is supposed to read as 18 reads a lot closer 16 or 14, the romance is strangely forced in both the get together and 'break up' but there were some interesting ideas and plot elements that were sadly overshadowed by how cliché much of the characters act.
