Cold Comfort Farm by Stella Gibbons

Definitely slow going but once I was into it and we were actually at cold comfort farm it got better. I did really like the end with Flora and Charles.

This made me cry so much. I fell for the characters, especially Harriet and Wyn, I disliked the writing at points but overall it was enjoyable and gut-wrenching.
