“Finding the right person at the right time is a crock of shit. I want to be your person all the time, and you, mine.”

Thanks to Ally Williams, I was able to receive an ARC for Namaste and Code All Day!

"I cannot fix on the hour, or the spot, or the look or the words, which laid the foundation. It is too long ago. I was in the middle before I knew that I had begun.”

my first classic! it was a lil hard to read so i listened to an audiobook. i understand why it is such a timeless read! time to go watch some of the movies to see it visually play out!

”What I am, however, is someone who'll slaughter your demons one by one until you're finally free of them. I'll touch your scars until you normalize them and can live with them, because they're what makes you who you are.”

i enjoyed this a whole lot more compared to god of malice. ive seen people everywhere saying jeremy and cecily are the superior couple and im gonna have to agree. wont lie i was falling for jeremy too

i loved that cec has so many layers to what makes her her, and how jeremy was able to help her with her struggles. IT REALLY HIT ME HARD NGL!!!

”I have been married seven times, and never once has it felt half as right as this. I think that loving you has been the truest thing about me.”

i originally wasnt inclined to read this bc of how popular it was, but my dear friend suggested it and so i had to give it a read. I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED!!

i loved how it was already written like evelyns book was already released.

it was very good, kept me on my toes, and made me cry.

“You and me, Ave, is so much better than you versus me.”

This was so cute! And the rivals in the workplace was so well done! I was so on edge and I couldn't put it down because of how badly I needed to witness the two MCs getting together.
The spice and romance was on point but I was also interested in the plot surrounding ORO. I felt like I was also learning a thing or two while watching two people fall in love.
And the epilogue!!!!

I can't wait to read all the other books in this series!

"We may be without powers, but we are not powerless."

the synopsis of this book sounded sooooo good but when i was reading, it felt both feministic and misogynistic at the same time. tierney was wayyyyyy too nice and forgiving and i lowkey hated all her inner monologues

some parts were EXTREMELY boring and it just seems like a book you read in school about survival. although i was COMPLETELY locked in when ryker came into the story
Spoilerrest in peace pookie

this book was a pass for me, but i can see why others would have loved it.

”People find meaning in the bonus gifts for themselves. It’s the same with books. Readers make their own personal connections to words, irrespective of the writer’s intentions, and each reader gains something unique.”

this was nice and inspiring! it perfectly describes how text is interpreted and how books can change peoples lives. ♡
