OMG?! I was sooo excited for this book after reading the first in the series, Promise Me. I loved Aurora and Cam and was sooo happy to see them make a couple of appearances in this book. This book exceeded all my expectations and it was on a whole other level compared to the first book.
I absolutely fell in love with Elio. I didn't expect to find myself falling for him too but I did. 90% of it is because he's a cat dad and he calls them "his girls" LIKE STOP OGKJNSFDKSJDFNJSKDN. But more than that, he has a kind heart, can navigate and manage social media, retired hockey player, and oh yeah- a dirty mouth.
Jasmine was so sweet, just like all treats she likes to bake. She has a lot of internal struggles throughout the book, but being in close proximity with Elio has her defenses coming down. I loved their chemistry so much. THE SPICE WAS TOO GOOD. I literally fELT the tension in my entire body while reading and that rARELY HAPPENS.
I loved this and I can't wait to read the next book in the seriesI NEED THAT NEW COUPLE NEOWWWWW

this was recommended by oomfs and it was really completely different from what i had in mind. it was at times so frustrating that i wanted to throw the book at the wall. absolutely heart-wrenching.
also so much foreshadowing that im gonna have to read the other books in the series

I had no idea where this book would go, given how the first ended. But I was pleasantly surprised with the ending. Team finn all the way.
So sexy and at times very sad. I may have shed a few tears from frustration and sadness. I was so close to giving this book 2-3 stars but she really pulled through in the third act.
I will be tuning in to the next book of Lexi Ryan's that follows Jas in the same world, I hope we can see more Finn and Brie in the future. I am very obsessed with them.

the 2nd book of beartown was good, but i felt myself getting bored. at times it was very sad and frustrating but i can see how someone would like this. i just really enjoyed the first book better. hopefully the final one will live up to the first
