I liked the concept for this book, it was an interesting read. I don't think I've ever read something like that.

I liked the concept more than the execution but I liked quite a few poems, some were very relatable.

It was a very, very deep dive into problems in NASA, the catastrophe itself happens in last part of the book.
I liked how technical but also hunan-focused it was but its slow pace might be a deterrent for some.

I have yet to find a family saga from South America that wouldn't be full of rape and violence. And in this particular example there wasn't any plot besides that.

It was a decent book, one of the very few on climate change that actually feel hopeful. I loved the variety of perspectives and interspersing the essays with poems.
However, for such a global problem the perspective within is very US-centric. I also kind of expected it to be more actionable than it was.

I really enjoyed this book, the plot was super engaging and the execution was excellent. I loved the underlying moral dilemmas and how it all turned out. I will definitely reach for more of the author's books.

One coincidence too many for me to rate this higher but overall it was a pretty engaging read.

I'm so disappointed by the book, the title and a poem or two I opened it to in the bookstore sounded so promising. But the poems didn't resonate with me at all. Some of them barely even qualify as a poem imo.

I picked this book based on the cover, so I had no idea it will be such a heart wrenching read. I love the hopeful note of the story though.
