Really enjoyed this book. The multiple POVs were well done, and each one did a good job of differentiating themselves from each other. Miryem was probably my favorite character :)

I enjoyed this book immensely. Emily and Wendell had an excellent dynamic with each other, the writing was well executed, and overall the story was just a lot of fun.
Emily was very clearly autism-coded, and I just really appreciated that aspect of her character as well.
Overall, I just truly enjoyed this story and it may be one if not the favorite of the books I've read in the past few years. I very rarely talk about the books I am reading to my family, however with this one I could barely restrain myself. This book appealed to me greatly.

This series is improving with every volume. I really liked the new insights into each of the characters, Chapter 14 was my particular favorite. I love the concepts this manga is exploring and I like how much the separate storylines twist around each other.

Was going to rate this 2.75 but you know what I really like Ander so this gets a 3
Definitely better than the first book, really enjoyed the battle scenes in particular. Unfortunately, around 60% of the way through this book I began to find Wil's chapters becoming quite a slog to get through, especially when it would alternate with Ander chapters. A bit disgruntled with how the women in the book are written, but at least they did have personalities which is more than I can say for some other fantasy books written in the 1980s.
Overall, it wasn't the worst, especially when I compare it to book one. Would I reread? Maybe, but I'd most likely specifically read Ander's parts. The battle scenes were very well done.
