Non spoiler review :)

I want to start off by saying I loved the writing, especially that it was a 3rd pov!
I’m a 5th yr medical student so reading this book was a different type of joy!

I felt like I was seeing myself in hazel (wanting to become a surgeon while having all these restrictions and obstacles around her) it just resonated with me.

The characters were loveable which is something very important to me. The plot was very predictable but still very fun to read 🥰 it had 3 elements I can never resist 1) magic realism 2) period medicine 3) a girl pretending to be a boy (albeit shortly)

Also, I’m not a romance reader at all so I appreciated the subplot (kind of) romance in this book

I’d recommend this book to anyone who’s looking for a quick fun read!
Cant wait to read the sequel 🌟

ANOTHER RINA KENT FAVOURITE OMG! This one rivals god of wrath tbh!
I knew I would love landon from the start and again the whole throwing around the word neurotypical annoyed me but I let it slide because unlike kill this man wasnt trying so hard to be a “psychopath” he was actually fun and funny! And I hate how Glyn painted him from her Pov because from his it seemed like he actually cared for his siblings in his own way. And I love that we got to see that he actually cared for brandon the most :( Mia was badass and cool even tho it often came off childish and cringe 💀

Both the plot and characters were really good and enjoyable which cant be said for the first two books of the series.

NOW I MUST SAY I CANT WAIT FOR NIKO AND BRAN’S BOOK BECAUSE I KNOW FOR A FACT IT WILL BE MY FAVOURITE AAAAAAAAAAAA

SO FAR MY FAVOURITE RINA KENT BOOK???!?!?!?!? Never thought I would say those words but wow. Jer is now one of my fav men 🫶 and cecily too she wasnt as boring as her mum but she was still a copy paste of her personality I would say. Their book was genuinely fun to read and I loved them together and I loved the bits of lan we got too 💀

Out of all rina couples their relationship dynamic is by far the best tbh

I thought xander and kim were boring? These two were worse. I love creigh he’s a cute grumpy and annika is all sunshine and I think rina could’ve done more with their story and relationship because this just felt underwhelming and..boring (which is surprising considering it’s supposed to be unconventional due to the MMC tendencies)

Now miss rina kent is rewriting her stories :)

This book felt like reading aiden and elsa all over again😭

And I just wanna say the MMC was trying so HARD to be a psychopath it was actually cringe :))) neurodivergent ppl don’t throw the word “neurotypical” around every two seconds and they dont try HARD to be neurodivergent 😭
And lets add that this man wasnt a psychopath he was
A SEXUAL PREDATOR
and whats with rina kent always going with the “but you wanted to lose control” for the FMC? Its repetitive and just not fun. The plot was highly predictable and just meh. I was honestly disappointed

Lets me start by saying it’s probably my fav enemies to lovers by rina kent so far! kingsley and aspen are my parents. I didnt expect to like them this much but oh well 💀 the thing about their story that was so appealing is that they actually were attracted to each other due to their hate for one another😭 ALSO ASPEN IS SO BADASS🤚 and King deserved a kick or two in the nuts for how he treated her for the longest. His hate for her was lowkey uncalled for at first🧍🏻‍♀️I would say interesting but once again expected plot!

Another non spoiler review :)

Dan is like the mature toned down version of ronan (I love that thank you very much) he was annoying and I would  smack him for his trust issues but I guess given the context it makes sense? He did some questionable and unforgivable things that I still think nicole shouldn’t have FORGIVEN! Nicole honestly grew on me which I did not expect after reading cruel king! AND SHE COOKS! FINALLY A RINA KENT FEMALE CHARACTER WHO CAN COOK!!!!!! I love her and I’m her no.1 apologist!

The plot was okay not that intense but some twists did throw me off.

Knoxyyyyyy booooyyyyyy ugh I love this man SO MUCH! This book makes up for the first one.. anyway, anastasia my girl was cool and I love that she was smart AND a mafia princess! My girl had personality (something I always look for in dark romance FMC) 🥰 loved their relationship because of the push and pull which is surprising considering I usually hate it! We got bits of Ethan too which I always eat up! The plot was not bad it was interesting and I would say lacked but the characters made up for it.

I will try to be nice and just say this is the most boring book I’ve ever read in my entire life. I expected more from Rina tbh. Vanilla? Seriously? VANILLA?

So this is my FULL royal elite’s series non spoiler review
I’m gonna start with Aiden and Elsa.. Aiden’s character in all honesty was NOT what I expected, I find this type of men to be extremely annoying 😭 like my boy stop trying so HARD to be indifferent!! As for Else I liked her for the most part but she was lacking in the personality department. There was this illusion of her being a strong FMC but in reality she was not. The plot was lowkey predictable but interesting nonetheless. Moving on to Xander and Kim.. the least interesting couple. Xander was just annoyingly irritating and I dont see him likeable at all. Kim was also lacking in the personality department aside from “all things green” but I love that compassion was her core ascribe. The plot of the book was so umm how do I say it? Infuriating? I expected alot worse and just more and thats on me honestly. Ronan and teal are my 2nd favourite couple in the series 🥰 they were fun to read mostly because ronan was such a cute and fun character. I loved teal as well, she was interesting in the sense she was different but not a pick me. The plot of their book was once again predictable and uncomfortable to read but I enjoyed it more than all the previous books ^.^
COLE AND SILVER!!! MY FAVOURITE COUPLE IN THIS ENTIRE SERIES!!!!! I’m a cole girly through n through. They were both VERY interesting and a bit different but again not in the pick me sense. Silver had major character development and honestly I loved her character more than all the other girls because it was a bit more complex (hiding her true nature and kindness) as for cole 🥰🥰🥰🥰 I’m his no.1 FAN. I love my calm collected chaos filled boy🥰 their plot was the only one that threw me off. I did NOT see that coming tbh.
