This book was amazing!! And I enjoyed every second of reading it. Two serial killers, mafia, and some crazy action. I’ll admit I was confused at first why there was an extra POV, but d*** does it make sense now. I didn’t expect that at all, I was thinking something completely different. I cannot wait to read book two because I didn’t want that to end.

That was unexpected..

First, let me start this by saying I loved this so much!

Second, YOU DIDN’T HAAVE TO DO THAT IN CHAPTER 48!!!! I cried like a baby..

Third, that was intense. Absolutely and utterly intense. It keeps you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. It portrays the absolute strength of a woman. The rage that can come. And the true love that we all yearn for. And bringing Kieran into it in some way just made it all the better. Yes it may not be the same, but it is something. The love she has for all those she cares about, not just Casteel, the rage that comes out when they are harmed is unmatched.

And that plot.. I didn’t see half of that coming and what I did, still hit different. She’s a WHAT!? She will be WHAT!? It’s just WHAT!??? I have so many questions, but also a lot have been answered.

Let me reiterate part of my review from the last books and say;

WHAT THE F***?!!!!

That was amazing! The plot was great, the smut top tier, the character development also top tie, the plot twists, REALLY??? Top tier. I didn’t expect half of that and the truth finally came out. WHAT!???

The distress and heartbreak felt more real than just words on paper. As did the love, the rage, the fear, and the sorrow. These books so far suck you in and make you feel as if you’re living it too. I am absolutely obsessed with these books.

I fell even harder for Hawke… Poppy just become more of a bad***. And that was some amazing stuff! I loved it so much, it was better than the first. But I am now like Poppy and have SOOOO many questions!

I am actually obsessed and have found a book to compete with my love for the cat and mouse duet. The world building, the plot, the twist! I mean, come on. That was something else entirely. Poppy is completely bad***, and it’s so hilarious how she kicked his ***. 😂 The man may be questionable, but he is still too perfect to me. Like my god.🥵 READ THIS BOOK!! I’m sure you’ll love it as much or more than me.

I adored this book!!!  Instead of staying in the line of the “normal” cliche for wolves and vampires, she switched it up and gave it a bit of uniqueness. I like how she was able to give it a twist with her own thought and how she has written this. I do wish it was longer and there was more time between them, but it for me was really good. The enemies to lovers point was because they were different species and each species hated each other. But his reaction to her the first time was kind of funny. It was really cool to read this and watch their story unfold, the twist and turn, the betrayal, and the friendship in this book is astounding and I enjoyed every bit of it. I am excited to read the next book if there is another. That ending sounding a bit like a foreshadow for a book about Serena..👀

You want a book to make you sob? This is it. It’s morbid, dark, heartbreaking, and healing. You want something that works through trauma and shows that you can find love in the most weird places? This is it. This book is so well written and well thought out that it was more than just a story, but it helped heal trauma it didn’t create. I absolutely loved this book.

This book is so full of emotion, and love, and hope. I loved reading Ever and Joe’s story and seeing how hard they fought for each other. The plot twist was way out of left field, but it was really good for the story and helped to further their story and longing. I think what I loved about this book so much is how it is relatable and tells you to have hope when everything seems against you. It’s a beautifully written story and I love it so much.
