sad to say this was an arc from grey’s promotions that i was excited for (the synopsis really got me there) but idk… like i was so confused the entire time, i felt like the characters had absolutely NO chemistry. everything was happening but nothing at the same time… idk i was just so confused and contemplated dnf’ing one too many times 💀
”all i know is no one has ever looked at me the way tabitha garrison does.”
oh this one hurt. dare i say rhys & tabby are now my new fav rose hill couple??? everything about this book was just perfect, and maybe it’s because i’m just a sucker for a marriage of convenience, but this one was just so different from other MoC’s i’ve read and i love that about this one. elsie has done it yet again, without fail! 👏🏽😩
elsie silver, ma’am please step to the front. the woman that you are, goddamn! this right here, cured my reading slump. skylar and weston together?? chefs kiss.
the way i adore skylar. my girl only wanted to be loved and seen for more than a marionette for the spotlight. she found her place is rose hill and fit in so much that the townspeople could care less of her status. i also loved how she never pulled status or wealth at any time.
and weston fucking belmont. nothing appropriate to say. nada. sunshine single dad with a mouth on him is all that needs to be said. and that’s all that will be said. and his kids, ollie and emmy?? ADORED them omg it’s always the children for meeeee.
but again, miss silver did not disappoint. she can do no wrong in my eyes.
