I enjoyed reading this sequel.
The development of the plot and the characters was really nice to read.
I really like all the greek mythology that has been woven into this series. It is an element that keeps me captivated!
I truly loved their personal quest where each of them basicly had to undergo their fear. In general really loved seeing their power display.
The why choose spice was also still there and loved it! They all fit so well together!
I did find the sequel a bit lacking though. I was expecting more after book 1 and for me it was not satisfying enough, it was missing its spark BUT I still had lots of fun.

Astrid's goal is to torture you, to make you feel emotionally damaged, heartbroken and devastated.
She does a very good job at that! How does she keep coming up with crazy stuff to continue this series?! I love it!! I totally devoured this 5th book in The Diamond City series. I am so invested. Her writing is magnificent, the way she makes everything so immersive and lets me feel all the emotions... Of course its not only what I mentioned above, it also has many funny, silly, beautiful and heartwarming moments. I love how she always adds so much to her books. From politiques to everyday family life and mental struggles to adventure and discoveries. She keeps integrating all these amazing twists and turns... I am still recovering. Insane author = insane books. All such beautiful and unique cities she has created.
AHHHHHHH - AMAZEBALLS.
LOVE LOVE LOVE! Sage, Damian, Pollux, Castor, Silas and Samson are truly unforgetable characters. One of the things I enjoy the most is the silly sexual banter between Damian and Sage. It's there in every single book and it never gets old. Gotta love the sweet s*x addict !!
Thank you so much Astrid for your creation!!

A dark lighthearted interactive book with crazy mindblowing outcomes!
This is the first interactive book I have read and loved it!!
There were so many possible outcomes and I love how everything was connected in total. It takes a genius to intertwine this in such an intruiging way.
Funny enough, this book has many dark and torturous endings but I got a HEA ending on my first try. but I kept going back, changing my answers so I would eventually experience all possibilities and it was such an amazing experience. I was hooked, couldn't stop reading till I witnessed everything.
From silly accidents to interesting magical adventures and time paradoxes. It truly was an interesting adventure.

Easy, lighthearted romcon read with vampires.
In general I enjoyed reading it but it was lacking in a few ways.
The characters weren't that appealing, the FMC was honestly so annoying and the storyline was just too uneventful for me. I did like Gaston but that's about it. It wasn't that immersive either. Even the humor was lacking for this is supposed to be a rom-con.
So it was just a quick fun read but nothing more for me.

An interesting dark romance - why choose with lots of psychological display.
I really love all the tropes; Why choose, Reversed harem, Forbidden Romance, Found Family, Trauma healing and many many more.
I enjoyed the way the spice and its development is written. It makes it feel so innocent. I find it hard to explain but I basicly mean that eventho its a why choose with 1 girl, 3 guys, it was all so gentle and it didn't feel wrong at all.
I like the psychological display and how it connected all of the characters together. The spice was really good because of its variety and descriptiveness.
For sensitive readers, be careful because this book starts of strong with a certain trigger warning. <s>(rape)</s>
Conflicting thoughts:
The writing style is less for me. I wasn't able to fully enjoy it.
I found it had a lot of repetitiveness when it comes to the usage of certain words and certain descriptions of feelings.
The characters are great but even there it was missing something, they were rather simple in my opinion.
I did enjoy reading it because I really loved the why choose here and its spice but the rest was kinda 'meh' for me.

Did I hear sexy Angels & Demons, Soulmates, Powers, A great storyline? π Heq yes!!
Oh My God - I am still unwell, going through so many emotions after finishing this one. π€―
I love it!! It has a captivating start, interesting plot with heavy world-building and so many great and loveable characters.
It has adventure, mystery, fun banter, romance, tension and spice. Altho it took a while for the spice to turn up (this is not bad but you should know - this story just made me crave for spice so it was hard to wait). π€
The writing is First Person multiple POVs and it is done very well! It was so immersive that I got goosebumps at certain scenes. It also made me connect with the characters and feel so many emotions... Yes, I even cried. So that means a job well done!
I do have to admit that the thought of "it is a bit slow" came into my mind a few times somewhere 1/3 | mid book, wishing for faster development but love love love what eventually happened so it was totally worth it, I won't complain! π
Thank you so much Allison! Great book! π«Άπ»

What an incredible read! A wild ride with great adventure, epic creatures, loveable characters and emotional and romantic scenes.
The adventure and fantasy in this story was really great and stood out the most.
There were so many amazing fantasy elements, new discoveries and twist and turns. It was entertaining all the way through. Very captivating!
There were only a few things I found a bit rushed or weird but I just went with its flow and omg, I truly enjoyed this one! My fav character is ofcourse the sassy half-demon Sephtis.
Now that I think of it, it actually gives you the feels of a DnD campaign and I love that.
Can't wait for the sequel!

It was an interesting read because of its mystery and the dark elements.
Really enjoyed the display of tension and desire. It had a unique magic system that intrigues me but it could have been better explained. I love the idea of the plot and it is very well written. It also loveable characters that I connected with.
About the plot development/pacing: The beginning was really good, very captivating but then it became rather boring and too slow paced for my taste. The pacing of the end was good but I dislike the ending. I feel like a big part of the story has been stretched out way too much just so there could be a book 2.
I liked the story but its not one of my favs.

A cosy and lighthearted romance holiday read (warning: it does contain a pretty disturbing scene near the end).
I did enjoy it but I found the writing a bit plain for my taste. The plot idea is really fun tho!
It was a cosy holiday read with lovely banter, a cute slowburn romance and a few twists and turns that kept you captivated. The end was pretty rushed if you compare it with the first part of the story. I wish to have seen more of them as a couple, for her to explore the traits of having a vampire boyfriend. Overal it was a fun little read that I am happy to have read.
