Crystal Resonance: High Vibrational Well-Being from the Earth and Beyond was written by Kerry Nelson Selman and was first published on 2015 by Llewellyn Publications under the title “Crystal Resonance: Combining Gemstones, Essential Oils & Flower Essences for Enhanced Well-Being”. The book's second and revised edition was published in 2018 by Shadowlands Publishing.
This book is about Kerry’s personal experience with crystals, essential oils and flower essences, and what she has learned about it. It teaches about what are the best combinations that can create the higher crystal resonance, and it also suggests some ways to meditate including these unions. It’s necessary to mention that the knowledge and techniques this book offers don’t replace the medical advice of physicians.
Kerry lives in Australia and identifies herself as an author, energy alchemist and healer. She’s been studying for a very long time and has multiple diplomas in Naturopathy, Herbal and Nutritional Medicine, Aromatherapy and in Advanced Crystal Healing and also, some certificates in Reiki (so yeah, she knows what she’s talking about). Crystals, essential oils and flower essences are always with her, and they are also in her daily meditations.
The book includes a table of contents, a foreword, and an introduction at the beginning, and then it’s divided in two big parts: the first one gives the reader some context and knowledge about energy, chakras, crystals, oils, essences, spirit connections and about the important power of synergy; the second part contains 13 synergistic crystal combinations and practices.
To read this book, you don’t need to be a professional on crystals and energy, all you need to know is carefully explained throughout this volume. But, it would be advisable to the potential readers to be open minded and to be familiar with (or at least intrigued by) the main topics. Anyway, it’s worth mentioning that age isn’t a limiting factor: this book can be read by anyone interested.
The way Kerry writes, to put it in words, is gentle, sensitive and calming (it’s not hard to see that she loves what she does). It isn't demanding and doesn’t force the readers to do anything a certain way but, instead, it encourages them to try, see and learn for themselves what suits them best. Kerry reiterates there isn’t only one correct way to use crystals, oils and flower essences, she simply suggests certain combinations that offer the highest resonance.
Personally, I would totally recommend this book to anybody who’s interested in learning about this kind of stuff. It’s a long book (over 400 pages) and I think it’s worth reading. Luckily for those readers who, like me, can’t get enough with 400 pages, there are two more Crystal Resonance volumes (that I can't wait to read).
I finish my review with my favorite quote from the book:

“Yielding is not backing down; it is not giving in. Yielding is taking into account all who will be hurt (including oneself) by the fallout of continuing.” (page 133)

Crystal Resonance: High Vibrational Well-Being from the Earth and Beyond 2 was written by Kerry Nelson Selman and was published on 2018 by Shadowlands Publishing, Australia
This book is about Kerry’s personal experience with crystals, essential oils and flower essences, and what she has learned about it. Kerry lives in Australia and identifies herself as an author, energy alchemist and healer. She’s been studying for a very long time and has earned multiple diplomas and certificates.
The book includes a table of contents, a foreword, and an introduction at the beginning, and then it’s divided in two big parts: the first one gives the readers some context and knowledge about energy, crystal, chakras, essences, oils, spirit connections and about the importance and the magic power of synergy; the second part contains 14 amazing synergistic crystal combinations and meditation practices. To finish, there’s a lovely conclusion, reference tables, a glossary and information about Kerry.
To read this book, you don’t need to be a professional on the subject, pretty much everything you need to know is explained throughout this volume. But, it would be advisable to the potential readers to read the first volume, Crystal Resonance 1, to be open minded and familiar with the main topics mentioned here.
The way Kerry writes, as mentioned in the previous review, is gentle and quite calming. When I read the Moss Agate’s chapter, I thought: “I really, really, need that stone in my life”. It was so well described, that I could somehow already feel its grounding power. Kerry knows about this, reading her books there’s no doubt about it, and, of course, it’s something she loves and incorporates every day in her routines.
The book encourages the readers to try, see and learn for themselves what suits them best and reiterates that there isn’t only one correct way to use these elements and practices, even though the combinations described offer the highest resonance.
I would totally recommend this book to anybody who’s interested in learning about this kind of stuff and has read Crystal Resonance 1 (which will leave you wanting for more, definitely). It’s a long book (almost 400 pages) and I think it’s worth reading.

I finish my review with my favorite quotes from the book:
“... We are reminded that it is in the smallest of moments that the greatest change can occur.” (page 328)
“Forgiveness, kindness, and compassion to self and others are fundamental to us fulfilling our potential and manifesting our dreams.” (page 351)
