I didn't love this book. Which is surprising as it has many components of what I love in folk horror. I think I had issues with pacing. I wasn't really invested until the last quarter of the book.

With each statement, I found myself trying to determine who was a human and who was humanoid. Sometimes the answer was obvious. Other times, they blended together. Statement 049 was so haunting. I cannot stop thinking about it.
