A childhood favorite that I read over and over. This book is so precious to me and even decades later I still think about it regularly and how it shaped me as a young reader and a young woman who identified very much with Princess Addie.

My favorite in the series, the ending tore my absolute heart out and I still think about it decades later.

This was one of my favorite books as a young girl and read it several times growing up. Libby Bray was an author I turned to a lot as a young adult.

So much fun! If you don’t like romances that feel really modern/have a lot of movie and TV references, you may not be into this— but I was giggling throughout the whole story! I loved the slow burn and how Rowan CRAWLED for Sloane. The kills slayed, the heat was delicious, and the romance was delightful and playful. Enjoyed it so much more than I thought I would— and the audio performances were all FABULOUS. A very “Dexter” love story.

For a murder mystery, this book was so goddamn repetitive and boring, and was incredibly dated even for a modern mystery. The character all felt very trope-y, the romance between Celeste and Shooter felt fine but forced, and overall I expected more. Honestly the mini series was better because they changed the story in ways that actually made the story dramatic/tense. This book was lacking.

What a truly goofy, unserious, and entertaining book about finding love after being abducted by aliens. This book was thoroughly enjoyable and very much a cupcake book— it’s sweet, it’s smooshy, it’s sexy— is it the best thing I’ve ever read? GOD no! But will I be recommending it to everyone who loves fun smut? You bet your blue ass I will.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 9%.
The tone was all over the place, it felt silly and weirdly caricatured, and the amount of fantasy lingo that was absolutely bulldozed into the first 30 pages made me feel like I was bleeding from my ears.
