I liked this more than I thought I would when I started...mystery, love story, tragedy all rolled up in one. Language was a bit much for me.

This is not a literary masterpiece, but it is a nice, whimsical, easy-to-read, novel.

Didn't like this as much at The Kite Runner...some of the plot lines were very predictable. The magic I found in TKR was missing here.

A haunting novel. I was mildly confused throughout, but was satisfied by the end. One of those books that one would benefit by re-reading immediately, to pick up all the nuances missed the first go around.

Heartbreaking, enthralling, amazing. How small choices can so profoundly change the course of human events.

Hmmmm...two of my favorite things -- football and Italy! I thougth I had found the perfect book for me -- NOT! I haven't read any John Grisham legal thrillers, so I don't know what to compare this too, but it seemed like a freshman comp 101 exercise. At least it was short.
