I wasn’t sure I would like this story at first because I didn’t feel curious about the comic/drawing plot. But boy oh boy did the emotional damage come in swinging to save the day! These characters are so deep and flawed and real and relatable. Their journey from rivals to lovers is perfectly slow and delectable and their love is proof that you can conquer anything.

The timing in this book is annoying for sure and it’s a Tessa Bailey book so it’s not this deep life changing story but I really loved their tension and love story.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 56%.

Just felt disconnected from the plot. I liked the MMC a lot but the FMC was boring and the tension didn’t seem high enough to keep my attention. The past timeline was definitely trying to hold my attention but it just didn’t.

I’m not 100% sure what I just read. That book was a straight up fever dream. But somehow I’m also hooked and need to know what will happen. The writing wasn’t that good and there was NO explanation for the world or the characters’ backstories so I’m hoping that will come. But I’m intrigued.

HBY knows how to write a book that will make you feel every emotion under the sun. It was so deeply reflective at points that it felt like relationship therapy for my own marriage! But seriously, these characters are so real and relatable. This love story is so real and raw and I loved this.

This was SUCH a fun time! I loved the dirty mouth on the MMC and the voice actors were awesome! This is super fun and lighthearted and a great easy novella read. I’ll definitely be picking up the other books in this series!
