That was a different kind of intense (for me). All through high school and some of college (before I decided what I wanted to do) I was a huge theater nerd lol. So I loved the whole academia thespian vibe of he book. I liked how the story is being told from the future looking to the past. I don’t think this book would be everyone’s cup of tea… but I devoured it. I felt like I had to keep going cause I just had to know what happened. Overall I really enjoyed this book.

Y'all! This is my 2nd read from TJR! And let me tell you! I loved this! From the beginning I was drawn and there was no letting up. I know love the whole "multiverse" vibe lol (Yes I'm a huge Marvel fan lol). I love watching both stories unfold and seeing how just one choice literally changed everything. There were some moments where I actually stopped reading and was like I wonder (in my own life) how things would have turned out had I not made certain decisions. I love when I read books and they make me (sometime) stop and question my own life and decisions I have made.
Hannah, as a character was so real to me and relatable. Sometimes it take some time for us to just get our sh*t together. I can totally relate. The fact that we get to ride along with Hannah with 2 life stories and both feel genuine was a real treat to me. I usually read multiple books at one time lol. I originally started this one to just listen to on car rides but the story was so good, that it became my main focus. I had to know what was going to happen.
Overall, I really enjoyed this book. I don't think I can say this isn't my "usual genre" anymore because I am officially a fan. I love how easy it was to read this book and how easy it was to insert myself into book. The story and characters were relate-able and authentic (my opinion). I totally recommend this book I went in blind and came out satisfied!

The Soulmate by Sally Hepworth
Special Thanks to NetGalley and MacMillan Audio for providing me with an Audiobook copy of The Soulmate.
Other than being familiar with the genre, I went into this title blind. I feel like the experience is better for me that way. I thought this book was great. I love how not only does the story bring you in and take you on this journey that is intense on so many levels that literally had me on the edge of my seat and the characters on the edge in the story as well lol.
I love how the book had multiple point of views. In my opinion multiple POVs give the story and characters more depth. I appreciate that because it make the story more authentic (even though its fiction lol) and enjoyable to me. Both marriages had struggles which is also accurate in real life and I liked how the author depicted that in the story as well. I am not gonna lie though, I was not ready for the ending. The twists that take place in this book are totally unanticipated and will literally having you feeling like someone just pulled the floor from underneath you! But if you're like me, you love that experience when reading.
This was my first time reading a book by Sally Hepworth, I am looking forward to checking out more of her work. Overall, I really enjoyed reading this book and I appreciate very much the chance to read it. 4 stars.
