Out of the Silent Planet by C.S. Lewis

I have been wanting to read this book for a long time due to the bandwagon fascination of Mr. Clive Staples and I will say that if he were alive today, he should stick to writing about Christianity. His attempt at Sci-Fi wasn’t bad and honestly the ending was pretty good but his writing makes it hard to get through since he goes into much detail that really doesn’t help/enhance the story at all. On the other hand, I am and always will be blown away with the creative mind that CS Lewis had as he creates another world that is so different and contrary to ours. Well done good sir.

Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card

I have been told for many years that this was a must read book and that it was many people’s favorite book of all time! I did not believe them and put off reading it until now. I absolutely regret waiting this long!! This was an incredible book that I did not want to put down and it only took picking up this book 3 or 4 times to finish it! I would recommend this for anyone that likes books or even if you don’t like books, read it!
The President Is Missing by Bill Clinton, James Patterson
4.0
Although there was a decent lull in the middle of the book where it got kind of slow, it was really intriguing! Definitely had some cheesy parts but it was written to keep you reading and the story line did a great job at that. There was also some very obvious political shots fired (expected with having a previous president co-write a book) but it did not take away from the book at all! Overall, I would recommend for James Patterson or general action/mystery lovers!
Hard Road by J.B. Turner

I started and finished this (on audiobook) while doing a puzzle and it was a beautiful day of rest. This book was extremely intriguing and really didn’t have any slow parts! Great book

Yes this was another puzzle audiobook listening and no the puzzle isn’t even close to being finished! I don’t think I gave anyone a decent review of this series last review so here we go!
The first two books in this series are a very easy read with very characters that draw you in! Jon Reznick is the quintessential post-military man you could want in a thriller like these. Him and FBI Assistant director Martha Meyerstein make an incredible duo. This story ended with a very surprising and satisfying ending! I thought it was going to be super predictable but well done Mr. turner with that ending. I recommend to anyone who’s read the first book and likes puzzles
