I'm so happy with how this one ended. Anyone who has read this already will know there was a point toward the end that had my mouth hanging open in shock as I read! I am so sad to see some characters die and it as all very bittersweet! I'm very curious where this is going to go next as this does feel like an ending to me so book 4 and 5 could be interesting!

Didn't really love this one. Eadlyns character didnt grow on me, I dont feel like I'm really rooting for any of the selected either and I feel like it could have been better if you felt like there was really anything between her and any of the boys. A bit sad about what happened with her twin and the ending leaves you on quite the cliffhanger. Good or bad though I'll see this through the end now with only one book left to read!

I had hoped for something more with Queen Amberly. I know it's only a short story but I feel like they could have made her meeting with Clarkson so much more exciting. It's nice to see a bit of her story but it was nothing special

I'll give this one four stars because it had a satisfying ending and I would say the last 30% of the book had quite a lot going on. This one starts off really slow which is a shame after thunderhead, book 2 was definitely the best of the bunch! I still dont really get citra and rowans "relationship" I dont feel like that was developed very well in any of the books. Happy to see Scythe Rand finally growing a spine and dealing with Goddard too!

This was a really good read. I much preferred it to the first book, it felt a lot more action packed and better written too. I love what is happening between Sophie and archer but I don't know if I just want her to want Cal because he is so sweet. It leaves you on quite a cliffhanger and I want to know what is going to happen now the bad guys have been revealed.
