Quick Thoughts:
I LOVED this book. The pacing was a bit slow in the first half (but this is common in her trinity books due to how she world builds it) I loved the falcon clan, the sexy alpha leader, the tortured heroine, a killer on the loose and the atmospheric setting of Arizona. Not one you will want to miss out on at all

First Impressions
This had a fling to second chance romance feel to it. This does have a heroine that is a famous musician and a hero who is a protective cop. I really enjoyed the dynamic between them. It does start out with a intimate scene which isn't my favorite. I am not into the instant flings in stories but I see why the author wrote this as she did to really set up for the second chance aspects. I found this book to have great potential but fell a bit flat in the end for me. I wanted to love this more than I actually did. I think though I have always done her books in audio and I think that is why I didn't love this as much as I wanted to.
First Line
"You like that?" he growls into my ear, his eyes pinned to mine in the mirror in front of us.
The Main Protagonists
The Hero: Levi Crawford
The Heroine: Stella
Summary
Stella is a famous musician but she has some demons in her past that she can't seem to let go of. She shares a brilliant connection with Levi Crawford, who is a PD in Seattle. When she is sent home by her doctor to take a break from the tour as she is suffered from trauma and needs some rest, she runs into Levi again. But this time, Levi isn't going to let her brush him off like she did their first time together. He is going to court her but protect his heart until he knows she will treat it well. Levi is consumed by his work and for the first time he needs the solace he can find in Stella's arms. But there is a danger that surrounds Stella that could put them both at risk.
What I Loved
I really loved the hero, Levi Crawfod, was so sexy and I loved him as the hero. He was likeable and sexy but also had principles and stood for something. I also respected how he stood for himself and set boundaries in the relationship. When you see how the heroine treats him in the beginning, you really respect what he sets for their relationship. Stella is in need of some rest, relaxation and some good ole fashioned wooing. lol And Levi woo's her deeply and I was all for the whole dating dance they do in this book. We need so much more of that in contemporary romance that I feel is missing in so many books these days.
What I Struggled With
I struggled with the most was the heroine and in how she treats the hero. It wasn't easy seeing how she treats him in the beginning. I also feel like I struggled with the writing in this one, and maybe its because I have only physically read her novellas lol I also felt like there were some unanswered questions. The biggest one was Stella didn't seem to want a family or kids....but the hero obviously did and they never really tackled that later in the story so it was a bit confusing where she stood on that once they were together in the end. And please read the trigger warnings for this book, there is a scene that might be troubling for some dealing with a homicide Levi is looking into and its really heartbreaking to read.

My Review:
I saw that this was recommended as a book similar to that of Neva Altaj and so I immediately picked it up and unfortunately this one didn't quite meet up to expectations. I am not sure why this was recommended as a book similar to Neva Altaj because the heroine in this was awful and I did think the mafia and crime aspects were more darker than what that author actually writes if I am being honest. Its definitely a darker mafia even for mafia romance. I found the premise of it to be very interesting but it didn't quite execute the way that I would have hoped for. There are some flashbacks which I wasn't a fan of. I really found the hero a solid mafia hero. It was really the heroine that I struggled in this one and honestly all the women in this were very prickly and not likeable at all. Very black cat like heroines and those are some of my least favorite heroines. The heroine was very disloyal, not willing to keep her word and be very deceptive for her own desires and never thinking about the consequences of her actions. And because of the heroine, I honestly am not sure I would ever want to read her again. I am interested about some of the other heroes but not sure if its enough with these type of heroines this author probably tends to write.
Overall while I enjoyed some aspects of this one, I mostly just skimmed it because of the way the heroine was written that just rubbed me the wrong way.

Delight Me by J. Kenner

My Review:
Delight Me was quite a fun novella that this author delivered on. I really loved seeing Damien and Nikki celebrating their Christmas together. I love this book so deeply though because it had me in my feels especially in that second half. I loved the plot of this story where it was so much more than just spicy times between them as some of her novellas tend to be. This is where there was an actual plot and man I loved seeing what happened here. It just shows another layer to their relationship and seeing them grow so deeply as a couple but also being humble in knowing how blessed they are to be together. I loved the way it kept me on the edge especially in that third act. If you love Damien and Nikki then this will be a true fun gift from the author.
Overall I had a blast with this one and I can't wait to see what she brings in the end of their saga.

Burn with Me by Kristen Proby

My Review:
So for this novella review, I wanted to share my thoughts on Burn With Me. This features the best friend to the heroine from "Tied With Me" and this features a menage romance that happens between our main character heroine "Bailey" who works on charity functions in an effort to help others. She is a senators daughter but is estranged from her family and lives very humbly so that she can help others as much as possible. There are two sexy firefighters who have wanted Bailey for quite a while but been waiting on the green light. For Bailey she isn't sure what their expectations are for her. If they just want a fling or something more serious and how it would work with three of them.
This is a novella and its not super long, and so its really such a spicy novella. I do think books like this would be longer. Menage relationship are very complex and I would have liked to see more aspects of the relationship being built. But I thin the author just wanted to do something quick and easy for their story. I did appreciate this book than I probably would have if I had read it when it first came out since I wasn't big into spicy only books. I did love seeing how their relationship happened though. And eager to move forward with the series now.

My Thoughts:
This was so adorable. We get to see the couple from the first five books celebrate Halloween with their kiddos and it was so endearing. Had me laughing all over the place. Made me miss this series and want to get back into it again. (its kinda massive lol so only halfway) but a good reminder why I love this series so much.

Ecstasy Untamed was a interesting story and not what I expected. There are some authors I just trust to deliver completely and this is one of those authors, that is how much I trust her. However, having said that, I didn't do any research on this book nor did I expect this to have a bit a love triangle type of conflict. Now its not a straight up love triangle but the first 35% or so you aren't sure what is actually happening there. So I found it quite interesting since this dynamic and the way the conflict was introduced was very different for a paranormal romance.

Summary
Faith is living in eastern europe, making an effort to help young girls that are being forced to be sex workers and trying to inspire them to make more positive change in their lives. When a mysterious man comes to her on the streets and she feels a connection to him and he claims her to be his mate, having been part of the people and have lived for centuries, she knows how important the Feral Warriors are against the evils in their worlds, as they are like royalty for their people. She knows she can't resist a mating bond. When she arrives though to the home of the Feral Warriors, she starts to have doubts about the mating bond and she has a connection to one of the other Feral Warriors, a warrior is at odds with his spirit animal. But she has a bond with another and she is feeling torn about which man she should go with ....but when she learns the truth .....her heart will answer the call on her path moving forward....
What I Loved
I really loved the complexicity of the relationship that is shown here. Even though I am not a big fan of the three way conflict....what I did love was seeing the angst emotional moments between these characters. I really had to read the blurb at first because I was confused on who the real hero would actually be. To be honest you don't really know until they arrive at the Feral Warriors home. I really loved the connection between Faith and Hawke. Its a very insta love in that respect, but with each chapter we see that chemistry just build between them. I really enjoyed both of these characters. I felt so heartbroken for Faith and what she has to go through in this book. I am also relieved that some things she didn't keep a secret for too long, that she does come out with the truth on it. And the way the truths are all revealed, I actually really liked. There was such a intensity to this book that kept me on the edge of my seat and where I didn't want to put this one down.
What I truly loved was the alpha vibes in this book, the edgy thrills of the paranormal world that this author created and how fascinated I was into this world again and how much I have missed so many of these characters.
What I Struggled With
I wasn't a fan of the love triangle type of aspect, it definitely was a turn off for me especially since I wasn't aware of it going in (and yes thats my own fault lol) but it still affected my overall enjoyment of this story and what kept it from being a five star read.

First Impressions
So in the Hidden Moon I was able to buddy read this one with "Whiskey In The Jar" and it was blast doing so. I really loved the way in which we were able to do this together. This is an author I have been meaning to read much more of but honestly just kept forgetting about and now that I have read this one, she is definitely going to become much more of a priority. Because while this wasn't a perfect romance....it was a very well written story and I want to do much more of these and honestly I love this setting and era and not many authors write in it, in fact, very few do. And it had such genuine diversity in it and not any of that race swap so many authors do these days now.
First Line
At night, the imperial captal became a place of lanterns and shadows.
The Main Protagonists
The Hero: Gao
The Heroine: Wei Wei Bai
Summary
Lady Bai, Wei-wei is the only girl in her family and is completely devoted to her family. But there is a part of her that yearns for something more than what is expected of her from family and societal expectations. When her brother gets caught up in a murder mystery involving some high officials of the Emperor, she keeps running in the rogue of the underground....Gao. There is not much known about Gao or even if he is truly trustworthy, but Wei Wei knows that she can trust him. He is like a steady rock in a flowing stream that keeps her steady and balanced. Through a course of events Gao and Wei Wei work together to solve a mystery.....but will they be able to solve the mystery and even more importantly find their way against the boundaries that keep them apart from investing in anything more serious than a platonic relationship?
What I Loved
I really experienced such a fun time with "The Hidden Moon". This is a story its better to know the amount of the romance level that you will be experiencing though. Keep in mind that the romance isn't necessarily the focus of the book....its more the mystery that drives the plot, the romance felt more in the back but there is still a good focus of it....however romance readers that expect the romance to be full frontal of the story will need to be prepared for the aspects of it here. I would say its 1/2 mystery and 1/2 romance. It felt split between the two elements but the way the author brings it all together really works very well. o
She is a fascinating author and I loved how she captured the culture and history so well in this one. You can tell she definitely does her research and writes so well a story that is detailed and vivid in the details. I felt the chemistry between our pair very quickly. Every moment that they are together were honestly my favorite moments of the book. Yeah the mystery was kinda cool and I liked how it kept me guessing. But what really motivated me to stick with this book was the love story that was building between Gao and Wei Wei. I was really impressed with the heroine. Because even though she did have some bluestocking tendancies, she also still retained her femininity and softness and care she had for others. I loved her thoughtful and graceful nature, how meticulous her intelligence is and how attentive she is of those around her. The hero is a bit of a rake, he has worked in the underground of the city and doesn't have a super clean white past. He has a ruggedness about him.....like a jungle cat. The way in which he fights for Wei Wei was really beautiful. And the third act was the best part of the book!!! LOVED how they reached their HEA .....truly satisfying.
What I Struggled With
My issue was while the mystery was nice....it was too focused in the story. I definitely wanted more romance in this book. I loved their connection, and just wanted more of it and felt like it could have been a bit more focused but I know this is the writing style of this author. But also the pacing when in and out in parts and lost my attention at times. It was really when the romance was happening I was full alert....the mystery aspects did drag a bit.

Simmering cup of tea---soft warm touches and light intimacy
Warmin' by the fire- a medium level of sexual tension, a balance of sexual and emotional intimacy, lighter on the details in the sexual moments.
Steamin' up the room -the sexual content is more explicit in the language and tone, heavier amount of sexual scenes.
Blazing fire to the building-The prime focus is the sex scenes, scorching hot, and could burn one. Less focus on the emotional intimacy to the relationship.

First Impressions
Master of Crows is a book that I have been wanting to read for many years....I actually have had it in my audible library for like 3 years so I figured it was time to buckle in and just get through the audiobook. Its not the best narration to be honest, and I think I decided to stick with the narration because her writing style can sometimes be slow at times. Well I struggled with this one and I decided to just stick with it until 50% ....well the second half is where the story really got off the ground and it was brilliant!!! I loved every single moment in the second half. The first half is very slow burn and maybe I would have enjoyed it more if I had physically read it, I will try that with the rest of the series though.
First Line
Yield to me, Master of Crows, and I will make you ruler of Kingdoms.
Summary
Master of Crows begins when Martise, is a bondswoman (basically slave) and she is exchanged for a chance at freedom if she works as a spy to the sorcerer, Silhara of Neith. The mage priests don't trust Silhara and want to know what is truly happening with him and prove that he is betraying them. At first, Martise plans on being the spy because her freedom is so important, however, very quickly, as she learns more about Silhara, her spy endeavors get lost on the wayside because her friendship and connection to Silhara, is building and she sees the good heart that he hides. But there is a enemy god who wants to use Silhara, and in the effort to protect Martise, he could be lost forever to the darkness...
What I Loved
Whew what really kicked it for me with this story was the romance and the third act. First off their relationship is so unique. I loved the slow burn, the way there is a level of mistrust between them but then we see the trust begin to form between them. Their sweet soft intimate moments were brilliantly written and then when they finally get together the chemistry is top notch between them. The plot really thickens in the second half and we see how their love is tested. I was so endeared by the moments when she meets his tribe and you see the beautiful blend of cultures that are introduced here. I was so captivated by the events in the third act of the story. This is where the story really escalates in tension and excitement. The villain was very well done here, not the type of villain that will make you uncomfortable, just regular villain lol And the ending was so poignant and heartfelt and full of so many hopefuls for the rest of the books in the series and I can't wait to delve into those.
What I Struggled With
The pacing was not fun in this one, I honestly think it was due to the narration and I am wishing I had just tried it physically first and then switched to the audio if the writing was too slow for me. I really had high hopes for this book and I wish the narration had just been done better because my issues with this book is the narration. I think it really hurt the experience of reading this one for me.
Narration
As I discussed above....my problem with this narration was how I couldn't focus on the story. The narrator just wasn't the best for me, I am not sure exactly what it was. But I just kept getting taking out of the story and being lost lol and its possible it was me I don't know .....I mean I just listened to a audiobook before this one that was spectacular but this is my second time listening to this book so I don't think it was a Me issue.
Overall View
Master of Crows was a beautifully mastered story that swept me away into this world of magic and intrigue and plenty of heart that I didn't want to let go of Silhara and Martise and the cover truly portrays the majestic moments that they have together.

Enamoured was a story I quickly devoured, even way more than the first book. This book was much easier to read in my opinion as it seemed to have more angst, suspense and edgy plot within the pages than the first book and less spice which I was all for. The first book it seemed that was mostly what it had lol I still loved it but did skim some scenes as there was quite a bit of it. So it was really nice to read the conclusion and have more plot being focused within the story. This book was so packed with heart break, and separation and reconciliation and edgy suspense that will keep you at the edge of your seat...literally!! But its a story I am glad that I picked up.

Every9one who was anyone in British society was at my wedding
Summary
It begins with the POV of Cosima....its her wedding day and she was whipped and tortured and then had to abandon the man she loved to save his life. We skip to a year .....they have been apart and Alex has never forgotten his wife, he still tracks her movements but when he realizes that she is being watched by a sleeper agent by the society, he knows he will need to be careful in how he handles reuniting with her because the society will need to be destroyed before he can return to his wife or they will be at risk and won't have a chance. So he does what is needed even though it tears him apart. Now its three years and Alex is back in society. Cosima has gone through therapy and has attempted to move on from Alex....but she has never forgotten him and when she sees him again....she realizes their love never left her heart....she just hid it away. But can Alex and Cosima reach a happy ever or was their love destined to never be...
What I Loved
I adored so much of this book...and it had me in my feels all the way through this book. This is a story that will really dig deep into your heart and you will just need to read their conclusion. Its not a easy battle for either of them. But don't worry all the truths become revealed and man when Alex learns of what happened to her on their wedding day and what he did to her unknowingly ....literally will break your heart. I was so captured by their chemistry in this book, because its wrapped up in this angsty emotion and the love that just bursts from them whenever they are together. In my opinion this book is the superior book in the duet. This is where their relationship really goes through the fires and they become even stronger than ever.
This story especially really had my emotion all over the place....literally I was sobbing buckets in this book because wow Giana Darling doesn't go light on their story. You really see their relationship being refined, and there are things that happen to the characters that won't be for everyone. I loved how they fully come together again though and seeing them truly fight for one another was just glorious. And that epilogue was just about everything. I CANT wait for this upcoming menage that Giana Darling is currently in the process of releasing. (Yes the first book is out but you know it has a cliffhanger so waiting till book 2 before I read it lol ) But I do want to read Giselle's book, and I know that one will be very different, but man I am not sure I am ready to see Elena being so cold in that book but as I know her story, I know why she is that way. But will be doing that trilogy very soon.
What I Struggled With
The time they were separated. I wasn't a fan for the length of time they were apart from each other. That was really my only issue which kept it from a 6 star read.
