I actually really enjoyed this, after book 2 I was really nervous as to how this would go. It wasn’t perfect by any means but I did have fun and I was genuinely invested in the characters and the plot lines. I think the villain died way too easily after all that effort. I’m glad Tella ended up with Legend and that he turned for her, but I still think Jacks is so sexy!

This was good and I LOVED Jacks but the stakes just didn’t feel as high, the emotion felt weaker and I thought the Legend reveal was obvious. I also HATE the fact that Scarlett wants to get to know count D’arcy, that’s so unfair on Julian after everything he did for her, I honestly don’t think she deserves him. The fates plot line was interesting but a bit rushed, and the mum just randomly sort of appeared out of no where even though she wasn’t a main plot point of book one. Mixed feels really but definitely felt a bit disappointing. I still had fun though

I enjoyed this, the premise was really interesting and I’ve not read anything like it before. I really liked Julian but also found him hard to trust and found Scarlett to be very brave but also naive. Somethings I didn’t like, such as the use of colour to describe feelings and images, I think the author was trying too hard to do something new and novel. For a very hyped book I was a little disappointed, it was good but probably a bit overhyped but nonetheless I had fun!

Surprisingly powerful for 30 pages. A good message too.
