The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren

Of the four books I have read by this author duo so far, this has been my favourite. I had a really good time reading this and I liked the relationship.
The plot is a bit wacky but it kind of worked! I liked the bickering between the two love interests, because I am a fan of the hate-to-love but, I will say, the whole reason for them "hating" each other was kind of stupid. From the way it was built up, I was expecting some big reason but it was just kind of meh. I felt a bit let down but other than that, the story was enjoyable.
But yeah, I was rooting for the couple and I had fun reading!

The Tales of Beedle the Bard by J.K. Rowling
3.5
I listened to the new audio version that came out with some of the cast narrating, and I loved hearing the familiar voices tell stories from the wizarding world.
This was definitely a fun, short listen but half the stories I didn't really find any interest in. It was over before I even got into it. The ones I did love, however, was the one about the magical fountain (The Fountain of Fair Fortune) and of course, the one about the deathly hallows (The Tale of the Three Brothers).
The story about the warlock with no heart (The Warlock's Hairy Heart) definitely has an interesting concept, but it was too short for me to immerse myself in the story, sadly.
Overall, I still really liked it, and I especially enjoyed the narrators.

I remember really enjoying this as a kid, and I loved experiencing it again via audio. It was so much fun! I could see little me sitting in the library with the book in hand and having a great time, and it made me very nostalgic.
I had a good time!
