A medium paced narrative of generations of women with plenty of real life struggles (check TWs) living in the ancient wild magic of Appalachia. There is a bit of a mystery, some romance, broken family & repaired family.

Another fast romance. This one is work placed based which always adds some nice tension. Less spice than I expected.

DNF - this is a white author writing about black trauma. Reading this as someone born and raised white in the south the plot line made my stomach turn because I know this racism is still very much alive today. It also was giving white savior complex. The comments on the back are also disgusting, “sexy” “delightful “ and “hilarious “ are totally inappropriate when characters are murdered and racism is rampant.

It’s fast, funny and cute. The banter is great. Technically I think this is a slow burn but technically we get her fantasy so it doesn’t feel like it.  It’s a forced proximity, enemies to lovers and as always a lady in science

A super lighthearted sloooooow burn. I was still waiting at 65% 😅 pick this up if you love dogs, enemies to lovers, NOLA and independent FMCs.

DNF at 17%- it was just drama and like catty drama that just exhausted me.

Cute, spicy and inclusive. It started slow(ish) and then jumped to hyper speed. It kinda lost me a few times but the humor kept me going.

A quick read where the main characters fall fast! I love a man who falls first and just wants to take care of his lady. I love the strength of a single mom raising a wonderful daughter. She seemed a bit young for her 10 years old sometimes but that’s just me being nitpicky.

This maaaaaybe is my favorite of the series. I love a lady in charge and schooling her man. You’ll probably love this extra if you like Star Trek- there are multiple references.

A sweet story with a powerfully independent FMC. I loved how the little girls were written. There is a 3rd act brake-up but it’s logical and I didn’t mind it.
