Way too long, 300 or 400 pages would have been enough. Some world-building felt unnecessary, but maybe it‘s becoming relevant in the next books of the series. Also some dialogues felt very unnatural. BUT the last 200 pages were a banger and I read them all in a day because I couldn‘t stop, so it‘s not all bad although not my fav.
