the writing is beautiful, i was instantly hooked by it. the book deals with some horrendous heavy topics, so it was a difficult read emotionally, but i still really really liked it. it captures loneliness, isolation, a desperate desire to belong very well

i did NOT like this at all, all the POVs felt the same, the characters were shallow and one-dimensional, the plot twists made me angry. but it got me out of my reading slump, so thanks i guess??
