How many times have you felt forgotten, as if you were a ghost? How many times have you felt that you don't matter? And how many times have you felt alone? In some ways we can put ourselves in Addie's shoes because we've all felt like that at some point in our lives, that's what  mesmerizes me every time I think about this book. We can all feel related to it, maybe not completely and in different ways but it still teaches you a lot. Like, for example, don't take anything for granted.

 The lucky list is about love and grief, about how sometimes we can cling on to the past and let it affect our present and perhaps our future too. It’s been great to accompany Emily on these adventures, see how she overcomes the death of her mother and the pain that came with it.

I love how it encourages us to get out of our comfort zone and take chances, to enjoy life and be happy.

The book wasn't perfect though. The writing was a bit repetitive and it would’ve been great to get to know more about Blake’s life.

 Plot twist after plot twist, the Hawthorne Legacy kept me guessing until the very end. I loved it even more than The Inheritance Games. It’s really addictive guys, I read it in two freaking days!!!

Also, if you like love triangles then this is a good book for you, if you don't like them, let me say this one's not that bad
