Okay, so amnesia? Really guys? Not cool. Not at all, worst trope in my opinion.

Des- Why is her name so long? And odd. Just got to say it but it is. Anyway, I do like how she stands up for her people constantly, even if it’s just in her head. She doesn’t betray them, and I love how loyal she is to her mom, so much so that she becomes determined to save her. Also, I love her sass to literally everyone.

Lucian- Smash. Hard and raw. Besides that, Lucian is actually so much like Kai Azer, not gonna lie. Same phrasing too. I love him though because he is so good hearted in what he does, even if he wants to wipe out an entire species. But still very good hearted. I love this man.

Overall I thought this was a decent book. The writing was a struggle sometimes, but I still thought it was good and worth the read. I didn’t like how some of the phrases were stolen or so close to Powerless by Lauren Roberts. Not cool. No hate to either author or any author for that matter, but it’s not cool to do that. But still, the plot was there and very entertaining.

I knew Joey and Aoife were gonna get really freaky in bed, but not that much.😭  I don’t care though, I still love them both. And literally all the characters so very much

Aoife- She is literally so real for be confident in her body. Before the baby. But even after the baby I can tell she would still be slightly confident, like in the epilogue it was obvious. But still, I love how she is a character I can actually relate to. I love her determination and unwavering loyalty. It’s very admirable.

Joey- This man hands down is second place only to Johnny. But Joey is very close with his smooth words. Like, he is such a sweet poet. But I also love him for his perseverance in his battle against addiction. For his babies as he would say. I am swooning!

Overall I loved the book, just like I have loved every other book before this. Absolutely in love with all these characters. Especially Johnny. Anyway, I will never like Darren. I just can’t. He fucked up too much to his family. I don’t care, he can’t ditch them and then come back. I don’t like Darren, sorry not sorry. But besides that, I really do like the characters.

Let me just say I lost my mind in the beginning. And maybe during the entire thing.😊. Also, I knew I wouldn’t like Kitt. I did like this book overall, the writing was well done. Even if some of it sometimes made me mad. But I loved the ending. Very demure, and sad.

Smash Theo Dale Silva. A HARD SMASH. RIDE THE BULL AND TAKE HIM BY THE HORNS!!

Winter- I literally love her. She is so queen, and nice no matter how many times she times not to be. She literally is so nice. I also love how so rekindled her relationship with her father. Like, that’s adorable. So freaking adorable. And found a family for herself. She deserves it entirely!

Theo- I love this man. Why does he need to be taken? Kidding, kinda. I love how much a girl dad he is, heartwarming. Fucking heartwarming. He also is so real for pushing Winter into realizing what she likes. And being there for Vivi and Winter. It’s so sweet. Also, his sadness over not being there in the beginning makes me love him even more. It’s such an awe moment.

Vivi- I will adore this little girl forever because she has everyone wrapped around her tiny finger. And she deserves to have everyone around her to love her.

Overall I loved this book. A LOT. This book was very well written, I know typos are there but I don’t even care. The plot is here and I’m here for this book. And Theo.😏 But seriously I loved this book. So love how Harvey always gets bonus chapters for himself. But we need a book, you know? Anyway, I love that Harvey finally confessed his feelings. Swoon over these men. I find it unfair that all these men are fictional.😭

So…I’m with Harvey. Is this like a cousin romance..? KIDDING, I swear.

Sloane- I love her sassiness. Also, I love the fact that she is so real. Like, she speaks the truth, no matter what. Usually with her friends though. But one this matter, glad she stuck it to her father. This sassy queen deserves to stick it to him.

Jasper- I am neutral to this man. Once again, he growled. I get the ick with men that growl, but beside him turning into an animal in bed, he is a very good man. Respectful too. Very respectful.

Overall, I love this book. Solid five stars from me. I love Elsie Silver’s writing and the way she gives me the best vibes from all the positive characters. I love how she makes all the men go to Harvey for advice. Best thing for them because Harvey is a top tier man. Literally love this book.

I’m sad because I wanted to love this book. So, so much, actually.

Bree- I hate her. She is so much of a pick-me. And for those people that don’t realize it, please open your eyes. Bree is constantly talking about herself or just her man. And literally she said once,”I don’t know why all his girlfriends hate me. They just have to understand our friendship is more important than.” I’m not sure if this the exact wording, but it’s what she was saying, which makes me mad. I also don’t like how she is described as petite, and small. No need for that. At all.

Nathan- Only two things I don’t like about him is the fact he growled once, and he dated girls to cover up his feelings to Bree who was in close proximity to him. Bro could have just manned up and tell her before the mark do six years, you know? I understand how this was supposed to be cute, I just couldn’t see it. I do like how caring he is though.

Overall I don’t like this book at all. This book just made me scream in frustration with the miscommunication and the obliviousness from both characters. Why did no one listen to Lily?! I was, and still am, very tempted to throw this book because of how much it made me cringe. For those that liked this book, please try to help me see how you liked it. I beg you.

I just want to start with, I’m so grateful for this book. I was about to go into a reading slump, but this was a pretty quick read and it was good.

Cassie- The fact that she managed to do school, work, and maintain having a relationship. I’m impressed with her ability to manage all that, I’m definitely impressed. Also, I like how she is very real. And caring. Admirable trait on her part.

Aiden- I think this is the only Aiden I actually like. He is very sweet to his kid which I adore. A lot. Also, he’s a chef. How hot is that? Very.

Sophie- I want to be friends with her. First of all, she’s smart and loves Disney. Like, who wouldn’t want to be friends with her. She is the best character besides Wanda.

Overall I really liked this book. It was an easy read, the writing was well done too. I love when that happens. Only things I didn’t like was the third act break up and the fact Sophie had to point it out that they loved each other.(Aiden and Cassie, to clarify.) I, personally, find I quite annoying when they are so oblivious a child needs to point it out. But besides those two things, this book was solid.

I’m actually very disappointed with this book. I wanted to love it, like a lot. I only looked at the cover and fell in love with it, until I started reading it.

Lucie- I love how she is so compassionate. But I don’t love how she talks to others about her feelings. Like how she is so brave to fall in front of all those people.

Aiden- I don’t like this man. He constantly says,”I’m not good enough for you.” Aiden is a person who is a pessimist, which I don’t like. I’m a natural goofy person, so Aiden’s view on love hurts me. Only reason he gets higher points is because of how much he changed, well he slightly changed. He became a small romantic.

Overall, I did not like this book. I did not like how much the words,”mumble” “mutter” “grumble” and “murmur” is used. If I went back, it is used a lot. It makes me quite mad. If anyone really likes this book, I am jealous of you. If you didn’t like it, I’m joining your band of readers.

Too many people died for the Capitol. And like….😭
The reason the rating isn’t higher is because I could not vibe with the characters, sometimes the writing made me hate Haymitch. I DON’T WANT TO HATE HIM, at all.

Haymitch- mid. He was mid overall in this book, like I understand the protective aspect of him. But it doesn’t matter him better, if you understand what I’m saying, thank you.

Overall I didn’t like the book. I feel sad for all the people that died, almost cried. But I still didn’t love the characters as much I probably would have. The upside to this book was the epilogue. I liked that.

Why have a war over her? Not gonna lie she is not worth all this.

Isla- SHE IS A PICK-ME! She constantly only thinks of herself, and yes I understand that she is a ruler and does think of others. But it only resolves when it benefits her and her “damaged” ego. She is the character I hate second most. Also, I understand that she is remembering what happened to her before, but I’ve just got to point one thing out. She was doing the thing again, using Grim for her own need and benefit. (I am somewhat sorry if this gets to you and you love her as a character, I’m just speaking my opinion.)

Oro- He may go respectfully die in a ditch. I don’t like him, he is such a pacifist when it comes to Isla. Like, even to other characters too. He is supposed to be a kind not the kind of one that bends over when asked. Ugh, I cannot stand it. AT ALL.

Grim- He is the only character I can get along with. He is actually real for what he does, even if I don’t like what he does. (⚠️Small spoiler⚠️) Like “kidnapping” the Wildlings, I don’t like it, but I understand why. Overall for this man, only character that kept me reading, and from throwing this book numerous times from a crash out.

Overall, I hate this book. I don’t like it especially since I can’t vibe with our main character. The writing is well, like really well. I just can’t get along with the characters. Alex Aster can do so well with her writing just NOT with these characters. I liked the plot, it’s tolerable I suppose. Please do not take this review and think, hm, I should go hate on the author. DO NOT DO THAT. Please and thank you.
