Such a fun read for my readathon. Was it fun? Yes. Did it change my life and will I be thinking about it every day for the next year? Probably no.

But it was a quick, fun, familiar ride of Hazelwood romance.

This book is amazingly put together, beautifully written, and way ahead of its time. One of the best queer classics I have read.
Truly deep and complex three-dimensional characters with all of their own thoughts, feelings, and fears.

What a great way to finish this series. I laughed, I cried, I screamed and kicked and sobbed and burst out laughing again. Now... I'm kinda empty... I won't really see The Foxes again... ever *silent tear rolling*. I'll be okay... maybe...😭

Jennifer Lynn Barnes is a writing mastermind and I will worship her books forever. It has great character depth, is super fast-paced, has great mystery, and I did not guess the ending.

The Dean and Cassie situation is interesting. The Micheal thing will be interesting.

I can't wait to read the next book in the series.

*crying and squealing*
This series has no right to be this dark. It should be illegal for it to be so addictive. This book is my unhealthy obsession. I may or may not need therapy after finishing this series.💀😭

I (as a person who rarely read fantasy) didn't expect to enjoy this as much as I did. My jaw was DROPPED by the final twist. Like dropped. Gaped open. On. The. Floor.
I'll never look at any fairytale the same way ever again.

WHY DID IT TAKE ME SO LONG TO START THIS SERIES!? I want to know everything! These characters have consumed my every waking thought. This book was my last thought before sleep and first when waking up. WHY ISN'T IT A TV SERIES ALREADY!??!?! And why isn't exy a real sport!?!
