omg, i dont know how the hell did i finished this book. the plot is about how the mc finds out that the other-mc's sister is hooking up with their teacher and the other-mc stays around her to assure that she doesn't spill anything and they literally forget about it in the first 10% of the book??????? and also she says that one of the other-mc friends gave her alcohol without her knowing only for them to hook up. that's literally rape. and the author literally doesn't mention it as the big deal it is supposed to be?????????? I hate it here. I'm not continuing the series. nah nah

well well well....this book was really fast. if i complained about the first two books not having basically plot in the first half, I cannot say the same thing here. a lot of stuff happened. the first book seemed to be focused on the past and was focused on the present and the second one seemed to be focused on the present and was focused on the past (and that's not a bad thing). HOWEVER, this book converged everything. all the doubts that the trilogy might had presented were perfectly solved. I didn't expected who was the responsible of everything but I cannot say I'm surprised though. nevertheless, I loved these books. they were everything I wanted them to be: entertaining, fun, mysterious,.... And I LOVED the characters. Specially Nate and Stevie. I SWEAR THEY HAVE TO BE ENDGAME. David and Stevie though.....Meh. I preferred Nate and Stevie....they are MEANT TO BE. but yeah, I enjoyed the books

I feel exactly the same with this book than with the first one. a literal 50 percent was pointless. the first part is only character driven and the fact that the author made stevie come back to her house was basically with the only intention of generating drama between the love interests. HOWEVER after
ellie's body was found
the plot started to move forward and I LOVED it. the cliffhanger......amazing. I feel like they solved a lot of mysteries from the first book and I also felt like the ellie and hayes thing is definitely not over. I'm totally continuing this series. Also a special mention to Nate, the best character in the book hahahah I totally ship him with Stevie....which leads us to David. I don't get him. in the first book I was soooooo sus of him and i still am. let's see where this goes

I hated this book with my whole soul. it was soooooo slow and the only reason I finished it was that it was a mandatory reading for school

YES YES YES. the best book on the whole trilogy. its plot twist after plot twist. it doesn't let you to rest. the other book were medium paced, but this one???? amazing, I loved every single part of it even though the
part where the superheroes started losing their powers was a little....weird
besides that, this series has become in one of my favourite trilogies EVER

the only reason I didn't give this book 5 stars, is because I enjoyed supernova (the third book of the series) the most, as I said in my renegades preview. I love that in each book you are in one different moral side. in the first book, you are in between, in this one in the anarchists most radical side and in the next one, in the opposite. I LOVE this series and it has became in one of my favorite trilogies ever.

well, I definitely enjoyed this book. it was challenging and the characters were amazing...the only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is that, during the 50 percent of the book (a literal 50 percent according to my ebook), the plot didn't move forward at all. nothing happened. all the plot of the book happened in the second half and the first part was literally pointless. furthermore, the flashback part was a little bit boring at the beginning. besides this, it was a really entertaining experience to read this book even though it is a typical mystery novel for young people. I really liked the academy idea and the characters were very loveable. I'm definitely continuing the saga =D

The world-building is amazing. The school, the magic...but I felt like there was no plot. I mean, the characters did things but it felt like it wasn't supposed to reach anywhere. I definitely enjoyed reading the book, it was entertaining and bc of that reason I gave it the 2 stars, but there was absolutely no plot and the two main characters who were supposed to have feelings for each other had zero chemistry.
