The second Harry Potter book is unique and just as well written as the first one. Harry's adventure through the mystery of the mysterious Chamber of Secrets and the monster that is attacking people keeps the book in your hands.

I've read this book at least a dozen times. I find this one to be my favorite, although it is hard to choose. I think that the suspense of the Triwizard Tournament plus the evil plights of Lord Voldemort really drew me in to this book. Plus J.K. Rowling is one of the best writers there are, so that is another reason. The ideas of international cooperation and unity between nations presented in this book are really true to life and should teach us muggles a thing or two.

An epic finish to an epic series, and I don't normally use the overused word "epic" but truly mean it in this sense. Although Hogwarts is not the main setting in this story as it has been the past 6 books, the storyline is fast paced and deep enough to allow for the reader to stay up until 3 in the morning to finish it. No matter what other series comes along, whether Twilight or A Song of Ice and Fire, the Harry Potter series will always be on top and be special to me. I along with many others have grown up with Harry and it's sad to see the series over and done.
