Thank you so much Macmillan Audio, Amanda Nguyen, and Netgalley for the opportunity to listen to this ARC/ALC. This book hit me straight in the gut, helping my own "Five" work through some healing, and bringing much needed advocacy to incredibly important topics. Nguyen is not only a world-changing advocate for survivors and a political force, but she is a STEM superhero and someone I'm proud to teach my 5 year old future "space-scientist who travels to the moon" daughter about. Having women in STEM to look up to is more important now than ever, but having one of those very women also be someone who fights for change and advocates for survivors rights is next level critical. There aren't enough stars in the solar system to rate this book high enough. This is a must read, a must listen, a must own. I've already recommended this to anyone who will listen, and I'll keep doing that for as long as it takes.

Thank you Netgalley HarperCollins and Melissa Ferguson for the opportunity to listen to this ALC. This really was such a wonderful little rom-com about rom-coms, authorship, publishing, and the secrets they entail. I LOVED the way the MMC pulled off his grand gesture - I thought it was glorious. I also really loved the social justice aspect of the book and the emphasis on the meaningful work that the FMC was so invested in doing and saving. Overall a really lovely read and the narration was fantastic.

Thank you Netgalley and Lexi LaFleur Brown for the opportunity to listen to this ALC. I quite enjoyed this break from reality. It was a nice easy audiobook with good narration and an entertaining plot. I liked that this wasn't your typical college hockey romance, but instead was a pro athlete and an adult FMC. I liked the complexity of the FMC's family trauma and appreciated the secret cinnamon roll of a MMC. Overall a fun read.

Thank you Netgalley and S. F. Williamson for the opportunity to read this ARC. If you've got a hangover from the Empyrean series, or miss the dystopian drama of the Divergent series... this book is for you. If you are angry at the state of the world right now, and are worried we're headed towards the Handmaid's Tale... this book is for you... If you are fascinated by class systems, dragons, and/or linguistics... this book is for you. I am all of the above listed things, so this book was a total hit for me. I am saddened that this book has just released, because it means I have to wait that much longer until we find out what happens next!

Thank you Emma Lord, Macmillan and NetGalley.
I love Emma Lord’s writing style, it keeps things light even when the plot gets a little heavier or more tense. I found Sam and Mack to be endearing and fun and would love to hear more about Hannah and Serena and even Lizzie and Ben. Overall this was a really fun read and I flew threw it.

Thank you so much to MacMillan Audio, Kell Woods and Netgalley for the opportunity to enjoy this ARC/ALC. I am a sucker for a good fairytale retelling and I really loved this one. I found myself intrigued and trying to guess at the connections to The Little Mermaid and Cinderella from very early on in the book. Though I will say the pacing was a little slow at first, I'm so glad I stuck with this book. I wish very much that Sam had more character development early on because I wound up absolutely adoring him later in the book but felt like his character was slow bring to life.
