this definitely became my new guilty pleasure book, whew. what a perfect palette cleanser after the emotional toll that exodus had on me. i absolutely loved the angst and the tension between aiden and elsa. aiden was so hot and possessive, i was absolutely obsessed with him. i loved how strong of a character elsa was. she always fought aiden and put him in his place when needed. the spice was absolutely top notch (and absolutely aligned with some of my favorite tropes), but i also really enjoyed the mystery undercurrent in this. i cannot wait to figure out the true motives behind all of the characters in the next book. overall, this was probably one of the best bully romances that i’ve read in a long time

thank you netgalley and haver street press for this arc!! this book was released on april 19th, 2022.
this was a very interesting one-sitting novella. although i expected a bit more of the enemies to lovers trope, i really loved that this quickly became a second chance lovers story. i loved how susannah really portrayed the couple as genuine and realistic. both kimberleigh and spencer have baggage and secrets, but they are both so dedicated to making their relationship work despite the struggles in the entertainment business. i also loved the representation of mental health in this novella. i didn’t totally love the insta-love start to spencer and kimberleigh’s relationship, but the rest of the story’s progression was so good that i felt a 4 star rating really encapsulated my overall feelings for this book. in conclusion, this was a very short, but sweet read with just the right amount of spice and plot to keep me hooked!

i absolutely adored this novella!! i loved the love hypothesis by ali hazelwood, so i was ecstatic to receive this as an arc! there were so many things to love about this book. i loved the plot, especially because it was so smart and well thought out. i loved that bee was a neuroscientist because i am such a nerd with anything about the brain, so this was right up my alley! the romance was perfection. levi is a broody male with communication issues and bee is a witty neuroscientist with a tendency to faint and a who lacks of feeling of belonging. their chemistry was off the charts and so dang perfect. and the spice??? ali never misses!

this book was honestly so much better than the first one of this series, and i was pleasantly surprised by that given how much i disliked the first book. i know this is technically a dark romance, but i really feel like it wasn’t dark at all. there was a little bit with aiden being a stalker, but honestly the spice was dark at all. which was fine, i enjoyed it all the same but i would have appreciated a little more darkness tbh. the majority of the book was just fluff, so that was a tad disappointing. aiden and his praise were top notch though

there must be crack in these books because i rarely enjoy a book when a couple’s story has been drawn out for more than one book. but this book was definitely good and kept me intrigued the whole time. i’m still loving the spice, aiden king is definitely a guilty pleasure for me. i love that we are learning more and more about elsa’s past and how aiden’s past interconnects with it. and the cliffhanger ending??? i’m hooked for sure. onto the third and final book for aiden and elsa

this book was alright. i feel like i expected a lot going into it and it just didn’t quite reach the hype. the MC bothered me frequently throughout the book. i was all for the possessive, scottish love interest at the beginning, but about halfway through the book i got bored. like really really bored. braden is tall, brooding, rich, and possessive and i absolutely would take more of him. but jocelyn spent so much of the book being toxic and self-sabotaging everything. because of that, i quickly became annoyed with her, and the story overall. the couple never actually resolved any problems, just had a lot of sex. which, at first, was fine because the spicy scenes were

i honestly cannot tell you objectively if this series is good or not, but i can tell you that it is so addicting. i tore through this book in one sitting and honestly it was so good. i felt like this plot was better than the first book just because more was happening. i’m disappointed that belly didn’t have any character development because i still feel like she is slightly annoying, but i was better able to tolerate her in this book than the first book. i loved how badass laurel was! getting jeremiah’s perspective was so fascinating. honestly jere is so underrated and although i empathize with belly is trying to choose between these brothers, conrad has just been such a jerk. my heart breaks for jeremiah but i’m ultimately rooting for him

this was such a good read wow wow wow. although i wish there had been a little bit more angst and tension, i loved wren and crew’s story. crew’s romantic gestures had be swooning and should absolutely be the standard. if my boyfriend doesn’t buy me all 400 shades of chanel lipstick AND my dream painting that costs over $1 million, i don’t want it. the spice was steamy and definitely had me blushing. i always love a good girl x bad boy romance. on top of lovable characters and good spice, this book also has phenomenal character development! i cannot wait to read the other books about the rest of the characters!!

this novella was absolute perfection and the ending that i didn’t know that i needed. i absolutely loved all your perfects. the story, the characters, and the issue is revolves around are so dearly important to me. seeing everything come full circle with the characters form hopeless and all your perfects was so wonderful. i read this is one sitting and absolutely could not put it down. i didn’t think a 90 page book could get me crying, but coho never fails to make me tear up. i loved every single piece of this.

thank you boldwood books for this arc! this book was published on may 4th, 2022.
this book was an alright read for me, but e wasn’t really anything spectacular. i enjoyed the story overall, but i really didn’t feel so invested in the story that i couldn’t put the book down. this is a contemporary romance story, but the one sexy scene is a fade to black so there is really no spice. this was a good escapist read simply because of the hawaii setting and the vacation vibes, but overall wasn’t my favorite. i liked max as a character, but i really didn’t love frankie’s character. she was the stereotypical “quirky MC” that i feel is a bit overrated at this book. their love story also felt too insta-love for me, but i did like the workplace romance trope, the one bed trope, and fake dating.
