Wow!  This book was a fast and gripping read. It started right away and I couldn’t stop listening!  It gave me vibes of Tremors the movie. When a meteor hits Earth in a common nature park it bring with it billions of tiny and invasive worms. This book was gross and great!!!

A little spicy romance with a hint of a fairy tale. When Briar Rose loses her memory only her boyfriend from 15 years ago is there. She doesn’t remember that he was no longer with her and that she essentially hated his guts. A fun book with humor and spice.

I like that this book shares another side of the lives for the 5 women killed by Jack the Ripper. I appreciated that. I didn’t find this book all that compelling.

A fun fantasy world where a witch goes through a mirror portal and finds herself on a magical pirate ship with hunters of creatures. This book has a 🌶️🌶️ spice rating.

An emotional novella. Two people rush to try to save the life of an abandoned baby elephant calf. It brings them together in a not to be connection. The work with this elephant helps shed light on the relationship with her mother.

This novella caught my interest from the start and didn’t let go. By the end I was wishing it went on to tell more of the story. It was about a medium who has some unfortunate moments in her communications with the deceased.

A different take for the horror genre. This is set in the Victorian age with a governess in a wealthy home. She has a history of nightmarish activities that the family isn’t aware of. A nice twist for horror. Great descriptions.

When Emma is raped she takes revenge on those who have done wrong. The police and detectives are after her despite feeling she is taking out unwanted men. An interesting mystery. Very suspenseful.

A fun romance with a good storyline. A moderate amount of spice. In this book the couple have a young daughter and the give both to twins. They have to navigate post partum depression as well as life with young children still making time for each other. An enjoyable read.
