Not a bad second book I. The series. It had an okay storyline. Lark and Lachlin get married for the safety of her family. I felt it was a little slow in the middle. There was a bit of spice but it didn’t go crazy.

This is set in a fantasy world where only men are allowed to fight fir the kingdom. Thea was wanted to be a war sword all her life but was made to be an alchemist instead. With much persistence and a little luck she starts her training. A great read with just a tiny hint of spice.

Even though I had most of the mystery figured out about halfway through, it was still an enjoyable read. This mystery was put together well. The characters were narrated by 3 separate people so that enhanced the audiobook.

A very thought provoking story that links 2 very different lives together. A share interest in a painting link the artist’s friends to a young homeless girl. They both have stories to share and to build together. Quite a bit of humor in this book. So much talk about farts.

Woah!  This book gave me all the feels. It was funny, emotional, sad and inspiring. What a great read. When a crabby man who was a beast of a lawyer and didn’t care about anyone dies he doesn’t know what to expect. He is taken to a tea shop where he learns of his next phase in death. There at the tea shop he learns lessons that show him how he wasted his life.

I didn’t know if this type of inter species romance would be for me. I was pleasantly surprised!  It was a great story and was well written. I enjoyed the storyline.

I loved this book!  A great following to the first book!!  I did this book on audiobook because I also thoroughly enjoy the narrator!  This story continues on the island with all our favorite magical children from the first book. It continues to teach us the importance of acceptance and being yourself despite the challenges and hate you may experience.

WOW!  This book was great!  It was a bit monster house, a bit escape room with a touch of revenge. When horror authors are brought in to hear the last will and testament of famous horror author Mortimer Queen they have no idea what they are really getting themselves into. Hold on for a Wild ride!!

I really loved this book. I wanted to read it Becky the dogs on the cover. As a dog lover this was the perfect cozy murder mystery. The 2 dogs play a good part in the story along with a kitten and an African Gray Parrot. The narrator of the audiobook was fun to listen to.

This book had a strong start. I liked the idea of Evie walking into a murder scene. Then it becomes a little drawn out and moves slower as the 2 are on the run. The book does pick up again but it takes until the very end. Overall just meh.
