I wish I liked this one more. Not to say it was bad, just super wordy and hard to get through. That being said, I skimmed a lot and right away have started Mask Falling, so hopefully I can get finished with this series soon

So good! A bit slow at times so I did find myself skimming some of the middle, but nothing crazy, overall a great read, and a very good sequel!!

Wow. Simply wow, I had no idea this book would be so immersive and tense, but I'm glad it was. Seriously so fun, and I can't wait to read the rest in the series!

I didn't love this book, and I didn't hate this book.
In the beginning it was giving me similar vibes to Six Of Crows, but overall it started getting a tad boring, not to say it was horrible. I still finished it, it just wasn't all I was hoping for.

I feel like I'd have enjoyed this book more if I knew going into it that it would be more political intrigue than anything else.
There were a few twist and turns at the end, but all around this book was pretty good, my only complains were that it was a little slow, and I wish there was more depth in the characters as opposed to Zithers little scheme

AHHHHHH!
This is an immediate review right after finishing the book, so mind the choppyness if any.

This book is just so, ahhh, you know? The amount of times I had to close the book and silently scream is insane.
Olivie Blake has dug her way into my favorites with her writing style.

This is a book about two magical witch families and their family drama.
At the heart of this book, it is about love, and how it tears apart, and pulls together these families.

Also, that ending, are you kidding me??? I WAS IN TEARSS

This book has a crazy amount of plot twist, that kept me constantly changing how I thought it would end up.

Just leave me here, I'll be crying for a bit.
I just finished this, and while I'm so happy to get a little glimpse into Adena's life, I'm also crying over the inevitable ending 😭
