This was such a fun YA sci-fi!!! Girl gamers gettin' it done!

I loved Emika's character arc from start to finish, and although I DID see the ending coming, it was satisfactory reading it play out.

I'm so looking forward to the sequel, Wildcard!

This was okay. It felt very much like a witchcraft 101 book (and, I suppose, it sort of is?).

I found myself wanting more and wanting the author and contributors to go deeper than they did. We skimmed the surface here and gave a very simple introduction to Piscean witchery.

This was a solid start!

Duplicitous twins!

The plot twist towards the end has me wondering how our MCs are going to move forward and save Lailah's life.

Interesting concept and decent artwork! I always love the reverse harem trope.

So sexy! The artwork was gorgeous and I loved watching our FMC figure out how to thrive in each new community she encountered.

Obviously, NSFW! :)

This book was verrrrry refreshing. Jes is a wonderful author! Her personality really shines though.

I read this out of context from the rest of the series, so was pretty much thrown into this world with no backstory. The book was good, but there were tons of characters and storylines happening concurrently which made it difficult to follow (especially without having the backstory).

Might be better suited to those who began with the first book and then read this as the second installment.

This was a pretty average YA novel. It was good but not my favorite. I still plan to continue the series to see how it ends because this series has piqued my interest. The take on Alice in Wonderland and the modern interpretation of the characters and their perspectives is so fascinating to read. Chessie is the best! :D

This series makes me happy! At first glance the series looks a little kitschy, but once you get sucked in you can't stop!
