The Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck

I learned what amazing literature is all about!
This is an excellent book that you all were probably forced to read. I never was, but am glad that I have read it. It was an excellent tale of a family caught in the troubles of "progress" Probably the best ending of any book I have ever read. Really kicks you in the caboose!

This was the first chapter book I ever read... I read it again last year while on my reading kick. Everyone should own a copy of this book. It really lets us all know the importance of reading and our youth!!! Plus I always related to lil Matilda.
