Everyone seemed to appreciate this book more than I. I felt like it built up to nothing. All leading to something I thought may happen and never did. I truly have read an unfinished story.

I rarely have trouble finishing a book. No matter how bad a book is I usually do - and I have read my share of B zombie books.
I could not finish this at all. It needs editing. Bad. I learned somewhere that a well placed f bomb does the trick in writing, sometimes.
Maybe if the book was edited by an actual editor, and I had no other book to read I maybe would read it again. Maybe.

The Evening Hour by Carter Sickels

I don't agree with some of the reviews. Sickles brought me into a different world that was so real, with real people. Someone was complaining about the stereotypes of the Aplachians, I am pretty sure my idea of that area is NOT these characters.
Elizabeth Is Missing by Emma Healey

Very well written mystery that surrounds an 85 year old woman with Dementia. It included a little humor along with the seriousness. Healey really kept me guessing for much of the book. I highly recommend this read.
