Oh boy... this has been a really, really tough read, but an important one. I think Courtney Summers has created an amazing novel that just hit me hard in the gut. Though it is hard to digest and I wished for more at the end (not quite sure what), I think it was one of the best reads of the year for me (and as an audiobook as well).
I am having a hard time trying to gather my thoughts, maybe having just finished the book a few minutes ago is not enough time to process, but I do know the book is so important. I cannot stress that enough.
I would say if you are interested in reading this, check trigger warnings first. I think knowing beforehand is important because while the book is fantastic and important and should be read, there are things that can trigger and it is important to put your mental health first.
