I loved the Vicious Lost Boys Series and when @nikkistcrowe announced that she would be writing a book for Roc, Hook and Wendy I was beyond excited. I was so lucky to get an ARC for Devourer Of Men, and let me just say it was delicious. We get to see the change in the relationship between Hook and Roc from mortal enemies to something more. And the story of what happened to when Wendy while on Everland was so freaking interesting, I wanted more and Nikki gave it to me. Devourer Of Men has mystery, spice and magic. If you’ve read anything by her you know she can weave an amazing world and this book is no different. I can’t wait to see what the Devourer series have in store for us.

When I started The Worst Pucking Deal I thought I knew what I was getting in to. Fake dating love it, but no we have marriage of convenience. But not just that we have dark hockey and mafia in this book too. Now that is a recipe of my ideal book. We have Sawyer a playboy hockey player who’s gotten into too many compromising positions and the sponsors are sick of it. Sawyer needs to clean up his image immediately or his career is in jeopardy. Lucia is on the PR team for the Sabertooth hockey team, and she has the idea to get Sawyer into a fake relationship. But Lucia’s past comes knocking at her door in the form of her Cousin Remus the current Don. He wants her to come home because the deal she struck with his father the time is almost up. Lucia is doing to do everything in her power to avoid going home to Italy. Her only way out is to get Sawyer to wife her up, and Sawyer has no want to ever get married. The push and pull between the both of them and the way Sawyer and Lucia‘s relationship evolves was amazing. This book absolutely took me by surprise. I didn’t think I would love it as much as I did and I’ve gone ahead and recommended it to at least five other people just in the past two days because it was so good. I’ve most definitely found a new favorite author.

Sweet Revenge is the Third book in the Blackmore University series. I highly recommend reading the previous two books as all the books are interconnected, but can be read as a standalone. We have Carrie who is married to Malcom, there relationship started off as an affair. Malcom’s was Carries divorce attorney and he left his wife and son Xavier to be with Carrie. As you can guess Malcom is a garbage human. At a charity gala Carrie meets Jackson, but what she doesn’t know if that Jackson went to the gala just to meet her. Jackson is Malcom’s illegitimate son, one that he never claimed that came from a separate affair he had. Jackson wanted revenge, but would Carrie be collateral damage? This book was just so good. Watching how Carrie and Jackson’s relationship evolved over such a short time. At first I hated Jackson and his plans even if I understood them. When I turned the last page of the book, I wasn’t ready for it to end.

I’ll start out by telling you to check the trigger warnings for this book, because there are some messed up things that happen. I was not prepared for the emotional roller coaster Goal Boy had me on. If you love dark romance with a MMC who is all touch her and die, with some excellent kink play then this is for you. Logan sees Meadow  in a cage dancing at a club and he knows she has to be his. Only Meadow has a boyfriend, but Logan doesn’t let that get in his way. And of course the boyfriend turns out to be a totally garbage human that Logan makes pay for what he does to Meadow. Poor Meadow has a past that’s so dark she can’t talk about it. And Logan wants to know everything and he takes it out on her body when she won’t talk. This book is a great dark romance, I love it when series are interconnected standalones. This book had my heart breaking for Meadow and cheering for Logan. I can’t wait for Puck Boy so we can get Travis’s story.

Oh man this was an absolutely delicious bully dark romance. I devoured this book in one afternoon and I need more from Ruby Wolff!!! We have Blake who was sent to juve for something he didn’t do and he when he gets out he wants revenge! And he knows it was August who told the police the lie that got him locked up, or does he?? He decides that she’s going to be his unwilling toy to play with as he pleases and he does. August wants to get away from Blake but know she can’t and her body betrays her every time he punishes her. And Blake’s anger turns to possessiveness! And OMG it’s hot. The spice is spicing and plot is twisting. Loved it!!

Desmond you vicious, crazy, broken man. If you’re looking for a tigger heavy, dark hockey romance, this is the book for you. I devoured this book and now I’m sad it’s over. Desmond and Blaise were childhood best friends, every time she was broken she would run from her house (poor side of tracks) to Desmond’s house. He would patch her up and they would hold each other as they slept. Desmond’s life looked perfect, but it was a front. This book was a roller coaster, you had Desmond’s anger at being abandoned by her at 15 as well as his need for revenge. The we have poor Blaise who didn’t understand Desmond’s anger but enjoyed how he punished her. The plot of this book is excellent. So now I’m off to read more by M.T. Morgan because this writing style has me in a chokehold.

I love me some J Saman books and Undeniably Convenient is no exception. What I was not prepared for how absolutely spicy this book was. Who doesn’t love a filthy mouthed, hot, billionaire, trauma surgeon?  Bennett and Katy shared one kiss while Katy was a third - year resident and Bennett was chief resident , then Bennett moved on.  A few years later Bennett found out his wife was having an affair for 2 years, with who??? This best friend!! The nerve!!! Not only that but he wanted a family , she knew it and said she did to, only to get her tubes tied behind his back. Yeah she sure was a peach.  And then we have Katy, she had a boyfriend and they were going to start trying for a baby because she wanted one while her body was able (health issues). She comes home to find her snake of a boyfriend in her bed with not one but two women!!!! So both Bennett and Katy were not looking for love but both wanted a family. They think they can keep feelings out of things while trying for a baby the old fashioned way. Yeah right!  But that is what makes this such a fun spicy story! And there are some twist and turns too!!! You get to watch the push and pull between them and it was chefs kiss.

Mr. Devereaux is the third book in the Taboo series and it’s an ex-step dad spicy romance. Which let me be clear, is super hot. We have Charlize whose mom was married to Alistair but since she was away at boarding school they only met a handful of times. After her mother passed Charlize went back to Australia to live with her grandmother.  When Charlize finds herself with an opportunity to make crazy money as an escort in London she decides to give it a try. And who do you think was her client? You guessed it Mr. Devereaux!! I was screaming because they didn’t know who the other was (masks + it’s been 15 years) until after starting the hooking up. He’s a Dom, she’s a brat and together it’s explosive. There is so much more to this story besides spice, I was rooting for the both of the entire time. If you haven’t read Mr. Bentley or Mr. Petrov in the taboo series you have to check them out. This taboo series is my absolute favorite, they are spicy but with a great story.

Oh my gosh I was not ready to fall absolutely in love with Alpha and Tango…..but I did!!!  Please read the novella Double Reverse first because you are gonna need the background for Double Masked. Dabria hasn’t seen Alpha, Tango, Whiskey , Echo or Romeo since the night in the cemetery. As Dabria is looking for some beignets she finds herself with Alpha and Tango. We really get to know so much about both the guys including their actual names. In case you’re wondering if there is any spice in Double Masked…. You will be glad to know it’s got plenty. And can I say, Holy crap! I was not prepared for that cliffhanger!!! Dabria!!! Well I’ll just sit here and wait for book three because now I don’t know what to do with myself…..

Oh My God!!!! The Wildflower you had me on the damn edge of my seat the entire time!!!! You have to read The Wallflower before you start The Wildflower so you know exactly what happening. At the start of The Wildflower you have all sorts of questions. Who’s her brother? Is Bel ok? What about her mom? But by the end you are questioning a whole lot more, whose parents are who? Who’s this rando relative? Does Sebastian like Bel’s friend? And just like you would expect from J.L. Beck the spice in this book is scorching hot. Drew is just as crazy and unhinged as he was in The Wallflower, but Bel is not talking any of his BS this time around.  The absolute twists in this book had me shook! I did not see that ending coming at all, buts that’s the way I like it. Don’t forget to read the epilogue and bonus epilogue there is some excellent spice in there! I can’t wait to see what the next Oakmont Elite book has in store.
