Omg in love with the giant demon rooster fight, perfect escalation for vol 3's first chapter. Omg the nice gentle demon born as a mistake  🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺. Omg the END LOL this manga always lives up to its silly premise. This is daytime drama, this is cinema, this is a superpowered rooster.

😭😭😭 Thank god the biggest weirdo investigator Mado is dead. Book does a good job showing how everyone just wants to chill deep down, but ghouls need to eat humans. 😬😬😬

Omg the recovering alcoholic coming to the rescue; learned a lot about sake randomly. Loved the reflection on boredom with the zombie philosophers. This series would be a great gift for any teen, just fun.

Oh my god, Chopper!!!!!! 😭😭😭😭😭😭 This reindeer is a great addition.

The full two page spreads are intense, fun, and make this fly past faster than I could have ever expected. Wow. Sea King is first creature that genuinely gave me the chills in this series.

 This was a random recommendation on Twitter and god!!! THE STEAMPUNK MMA ART IS SO COOL. The light, penciled backgrounds are evocative! They have STYLE. The story of a young, haunted cyborg boxer… unbelievably cool. I feel like I entered an alternate dimension. It is a world where the industrial revolution swerved into androids. Astonishing. 

 

The entire book is so awesome with the exception of the evil corporation being run by a Dr. Clown Jack Pudding (???????) Please! Why LOL.

Omg father and assassin type shenanigans on a cruise ship, what is not to love? 

 

It is over a year since I started this series and it is so so so lovely and family affirming.

Okay the book is fantastic. Mad Max meets dragon ball. I loved the demons. I loved the old man. Loved the gestures at post-war reconciliation. Happy I read it.
