A fantastic, emotional blur. This volume is all about overcoming an ACL injury which is one of the sports stories that tears at my heart the most.

Just cool - Black Girl Engineer lead, steampunk secret society, disability representation. Some action could have been smoother, but I am looking forward to more stories like this in the world.

I can easily see why this is raved about! This is just so well written, truly in a league of its own for shonen jump. Akane is such a sweetheart and so in love with her art. Koguma was a nice side character to introduce!! Actually all the side characters are lovely!

Wow - every time I finish one of these omnibuses I am left with the same exasperated feelings - thrilled, sad, not sure the internal logic adds up. Does Takemichi even love Hina anymore??? After 16 volumes there are now 7 to 8 male soulmates he has vowed to save from hell alongside her. There is a sweet moment on a slide between Takemichi and Hina.

This is a story about a child whose mom asks him to film her death, but it is also so much more!!!! Childish, beautiful, unbelievably well paced, I am in tears, I am in awe, wow, the layers, the stories in stories in stories, the heartstrings are pulled, the imagination still burns underneath. THE EXPLOSION AT THE END. 👨🍳👌

Rhys!!! Thank you for saving this book from a boring wedding in the first 50 pages, you truly made this book so much better.
Heists! Heists! Heists! Heists! I love it. Gasped during the Weaver house (horrifying) and the submerged Summer house (intense). The moment where she finally feels alive enough to paint again - nice.
Spoiler: but this book puts the nail in any nice feelings I had for Tamlin. Holy, holy, holy .
The last 100 pages of this book??????????? So much happens with the build up???????????????? Taylor told me that is how all SJM books tend to end, which is one of the things making me excited to carry on.

Getting back into the swing of the story! I always find myself enjoying MHA despite myself.

I adore the opening chapters; Takemichi being praised for his weaknesses, a fun end of year festival break for everyone, but most of all - Kisaki being thrown out of the gang!!! ♥️ MY FAVOURITE PARTS: The moment where Takemichi finds Mikey in the Philippines is absolutely stunningly beautiful. The end of the volume had lovely flashbacks and sets up one last story. I'm still on board! (But I'm sorry - you want me to believe ******* killed everyone in Toman???? Including Kisaki????)

It has been 84 years since I last picked this up. But god. The art is as gorgeous as I left it. The stakes are getting so high. POOR CUSTAS. I loved Coco's revelation. Thank you to interlibrary loans for bringing it my way. 🥺♥️

Kabe vs Iori!?!? Was so beautiful and intense!!! It is fantastic to watch the manga artist’s art improving alongside Kubo's dancing. There is so much movement in the art that the pages are nearly vibrating. I am in awe!!!
