Fun, fast paced mystery. Not as good as book 1 but I did like it more than book 2. I loved the povs that were chosen this time and I loved both sets of characters being involved. I thought it was a great conclusion to the series

Love this! It had so many of my favorite things like trials, mates, gods, and elemental magic. I cannot wait to read book 2

More teenage drama than mystery but I still enjoyed it. Definitely liked book 1 and its character better but this was still an entertaining read. I will continue the series.

Fast paced and entertaining. I really enjoyed the mystery and the characters. Even though they were kind of cliche teenagers, the author was able to add depth to them and had me rooting for them

So much potential but I thought it was twice as long as it needed to be especially with the background information and world building provided by the 2 novella.

I liked this novella more than The Scepter even though it was also longer than I needed to be. It’s good background information for Oaths and Curses which I can’t wait to start

Good background information for the Motal Fates series but just a bit too long

Hexed kitchen witch Dina falls for museum curator Scott during a weekend getaway in the English country side for their friends’ wedding.

This was cute and I loved the witchy baking and Dina’s Moroccan heritage. I really liked Dina’s friendship with Immy and Rosemary. The spice was good too but I didn’t like the insta lust. For me it was way too strong and too fast. There wasn’t enough getting to know each other first. For a big chunk of the book it’s only physical attraction and lust.

I do plan to check out Nadia El-Fassi’s next book in this interconnected series though.
Thank you Netgalley and Dell for this eARC

This whole book had me on edge and stressing 😬 like book 1 I enjoyed the pace and everything slowly being revealed and pieces coming together. I loved the character and friendships. Immediately starting book 3.
